HORRIBLE. I give him the WORST TEACHER AWARD!!!!!! he is rude, late posting test grades, therefore you never know how you are doing in class. and if you ask he will get pissed off not mad pissed off. not helpful at all. never answers your question. i don't recommend him.

I DO NOT suggest this online summer class or instructor to full-time working students,it is a HEAVY load.His grading system is difficult to understand and he does not post grades promptly.Never met him but his comments do not paint him to be a friendly person.Would not recommend.

Lopez has a great personality and sense of humor. His class is fun and suprisingly interesting. The BEST "math" class I have ever had. It's all logic and little number crunching. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!A+++++

The class wasn't easy, not at all, but that's what studying is for! He does come off as rude sometimes, too, but it's just his personality, so I say to anyone who was ever offended by him to GET OVER IT. I gave him a bad rating only because I could have used some more help, but that's what tutoring is for, I guess. Dropped the class cause I moved.

I felt like this was his first online course, and there were many problems when it came to actually taking the written exams. He seldomly responded to emails, he was rude when it came to student consideration, but when he had isssues, we had to deal with them. NOT RECOMENDED!!!!

Professor Lopez is amazing! Not only is he accommodating and caring for those who participate and are part of class, he also goes into insane length and detail on an individual level. You can tell that sometimes he is frustrated with certain students (or the class as a whole) but he is very good at holding his temper! he's also nice to look at. :D

Professor relies way too much on his notes and never deviates from them. Essentially he doesn't know the topic well enough to teach freehand. He focuses way too much on book examples and not enough on assigned homework problems such as even problems for use as examples. In all, unless you are self taught or know how to learn yourself, stay away.

I took this class online. hw not posted when he said he would, little work time, rude attidude. Extended deadline for students who didnt do work on time. Not helpful, bad attitude. Had a midterm and final within the same 4 days, plus Hw, plus exam. I have taken short term/summer classes before and they were never this disorganized & unpleasant.

Professor Lopez is a great guy who is very clear in his teaching style. He lets you know what he expects and explains everything to you. I have hated math and recieved bad grades in it my whole life but now I am loving math and am getting A's on all of my tests.

I think he's an okay teacher. If only he would drop his sarcasm and treat students like there adults not 9th graders. If you ask a question in class he makes you feel stupid, by his body language. The whole class starts laughing at his coments. I wish they'd install hidden cameras so administration can see what a jerk he can be.
