Comment:

The most boring and useless class I've ever taken. 3 hour lecture of her just babbling on about stories from her life. The very few assignments she gives are all of your grade, and good luck understanding what she wants from you. This is a waste of time. She makes you buy her own book, talk about vertical integration.

Comment:

She is the cutest, sweetest lady. I thought the class would be boring at first because she does have long lectures, but you learn SO MUCH. READ THE TEXT!! Not only is she the author, but it has tons of helpful information. You need to read the text and attend lectures to do well on exams. Two exams: midterm and final.

Her lectures are long and boring. Hard to stay awake during a night class. She can talk for days and everything she says is straight from the text book. Study the CD at the back of the textbook and you will pass her tests. I was disappointed that she gave me a B after I got A's on the tests and one B on the homework. Dont like her grading system.

Comment:

Very nice teacher and very talkative. She tends to repeat the things she says so lectures can get boring. There is is class group work every day. The workload may be a bit too much if you need to focus on other classes, but they are moderate projects.

She is a really nice teacher. The class can get boring at times, but what do you expect from speech? Attendance is mandatory because you get points by doing group work/discussions. You have one midterm and final (study from the book and CD), one group presentation (be careful on this one), and a few easy homework assignments from the book. Easy A.

Shes a good teacher. Lecture is extremely boring, but she basically summarizes whats in the book. Make sure you go to every class meeting since she has group activities every meeting that count as 10 points. Open note final. Study the CD that comes with the book. She gives us a break since my class was three hours long. Overall, shes a nice lady

Wonderful teacher. Her love for her students and the subject matter really shines through her lectures. My class met for 3 hrs, once a week... She understands that it can be difficult, so she gives us a generous break. Very sincere, gracious, and kind. Love her as a person - and loved her as a teacher.

Comment:

She is a sweet lady who likes class discussion. Prepares you for mid term and final exam. The syllabus is the key to get a good grade. If you complete the work you'll be O.K. I recommend this professor she is really good and very sweet.
