She says on the first day that your going to struggle. She is by no means an easy teacher. If you actually look at her feedback on the essays, you'll excel. She is b y far the toughest grader I've ever had, be glad with "C."

OMG. The best teacher ever. She scared me the first day of the class, but she ended up being one of my best teachers. You have to work in her class, but she makes it clear what she wants and how she wants it. She makes the class very interesting so the time flies by fast. If you want an easy A it is not for you, but if you work hard go ahead.

She says on the first day that she is a hard ass. but only if you get on her bad side. She grades hard on the papers and expects you to put all your effort. I really like her! I would deff take her again! She is understanding about if you have to miss a day if u email her. She always jokes and she is sarcastic.I love her class

This teacher is by NO means easy. She's tough as nails. Showing up is not enough. I got A's on all my work except the two exams and got a B as my final grade. Very disappointing. After all that hard work and the MANY projects assigned, I regret taking this class. She was funny and nice, but apparently not a fair grader. Students beware!

Szabo is an awesome teacher. I've always been decent at english but she has really improved my writing and its only midterm. She's hysterical and is very honest and completely willing to help! She wont hold hands or wipe tears. Show up, do the work, study the book, and really put effort into your writing and you'll get an A and an education!

Carol Szabo is the kind of teacher that all teachers should strive to be. She takes her job and your job as the student seriously. Her classes are challenging, however if you are willing to earn the grade she is willing to help you get it. She does not wipe noses or hold hands. She will show you where the tissue paper is. Take her class.

SHhe is the most down to earth person who is a person first and a teacher second. She makes you feel like you are important. if you have a problem then you can talk to her and she will try to help even before learning begins. She is a nice woman and teacher. A+++ everyone take one of her classes!
