Comment:
Dr. Smith is a very wonderful professor! He always asks students to come see him if they aren't understanding the material. He teaches at a comfortable pace and he also has a very satisfying British accent. Overall there are 7 exams throughout this course (4 lecture, 2 lab and 1 final) but if you continuously study you should be fine.

This professor does not seem to care the slightest about his lectures. He reads off of his notes from the minute class starts until the minute class ends. Clicker quizzes are once a week and the worst two drop. If you dont go to class this will be a very difficult course. You have unlimited attempts at the homework which makes the class bearable.

You won't want to skip lectures, as they are extremely helpful in learning the material. He lectures at a slow pace and it is easy to follow along. Tests are difficult, but so is the material. You will get the grade you deserve in this class. Clicker quizzes are 10 points every Thursday. Lowest 2 drop, so attendance is only kind of mandatory.

CHEM230 is a difficult class. Smith gives quality lectures so it is helpful to be in attendance but would be possible to use the book only. MAKE SURE YOU PRINT OUT HIS NOTES AND FOLLOW WITH LECTURES. Test 2 is very difficult and it sucks theyre on monday. If you put the time in youll be fine there are plenty of study resources online.

Dr. Smith does a great job teaching during lectures. Won't move on until everyone understands the material. Urges his students to come see him for help! Dr. Smith and Yasmin use the same clicker quizzes, notes, and HW. Everything Yasmin teaches is accessible to Paul's students. Really hard course but a Professor willing to help makes it easier

Made the class fun. I feel like he gave good notes and always asked if anyone had questions after going over something. The tests are difficult, but if you study every section like its a final you will understand it no problem. Best option for Chem 210 students in the fall semester.

Very difficult tests, not like the homework. Most tests give problems that are a combination of various hw problems and then some things we've never gone over. Dropping this class and taking it with Patell in spring. He is very friendly and funny but just reads the notes to you during lecture.

*Terrible teacher. He literally reads off of his powerpoint slides. For the tests you literally need to know everything! Study examples, powerpoints, and homework. Very difficult course. He is helpful if you go in and talk to him. Class has a curve!

Funny guy, but not a very good teacher. Tests are nothing like the homework or what he teaches in class. Read the book or just take it with Patel you'll be much better off then

If you can understand a British accent (it is not thick), then there should be no trouble.
