This professor is rude (Ironic for a Psychology Dr!). It felt like she had an attitude in all of her posts and comments. She didn't answer emails. Grades very hard. Her tests were too strict and timed ridiculously. And she acted like she wanted to be everyone's psychologist. I do not recommend her class at all!

Very interesting to listen to. The exams though multiiple choice are difficult. Pay attention in class and take notes, as well as do the reading and you will do well. The toughest part of the course is the first two weeks. Be a serious student and you will get serious results! Paper due at end of semester.

Dr. Canales is a great professor. I took her for 2 classes: pys 18 & 43. Very reasonable I think, show up to class & do the work. If you think she is hard just wait till you transfer to a University, then you will wish you were getting the type of work she gives out.

she is amazing. she's smart AND she'll answer all of your questions. i totally loved the class. get flashcards and write the notes down on those including vocab and you are guaranteed and A.

If you pay attention in class and attend all the classes this professor is easy to work with. She has a good sense of humor and she is very specific about what is going to be on your tests. Study from the book and study guide and you can't help but get an A. Find a subject that interests you for your term paper.

she is very nice and helpful. her tests are easy if you study andI got B for all the4 tests but 100 for the research paper. and trust me do the extra credit cos that's what get me an A for the class. the 5 pt.for the extra credit is added on the overall average so it does help. and get an informational topic for the research paper then it's easy.

Shes really cool. study her notes thoroughly youll get a "B", read the book and her notes, guaranteed "A". her lectures are so good, very detailed and a lot of good easy to remember examples. shes great and cool. very open minded and blunt. cool class discussions.

Great teacher, down to earth, and great sense of humor...this IS NOT a hard class if you pay attention and show up! Prof.Canales is a great teacher like I said and she teaches in a way that everyone can understand lots of examples. This is a great class I recommend it!!

Like what one person already mentioned, Carrie CARES about her students and really tries her best to make the class as well as her tests as easy as possible, but at the same time educational. Everyone with negative comments about her obviously party too much to even bother studying or even attending her class.

Great teacher. Knows her stuff. Very understanding and sympathetic. Although she says her class is hard, if you participate and listen to her lectures, you'll get an A. Ask questions in her class.
