Comment:

One of the warmest teachers I've ever had. She is such a great mentor and person IF YOU TAKE LETTERPRESS SERIOUSLY. Emphasize on seriously. You will not get a long with her if you don't. But if you do; prepare to learn a heck of a lot and don't be surprised when you find yourself incredibly invested (Personally, $$$ and time-wise) in this class.

Cathi has so much insight on vis com concepts and gives alot of important and valuable feedback. She is always interested in what you are doing outside of letterpress as well. Comment:

The grad Letterpress class at Columbia was one of the worst classes that I've ever taken. Ever. Cathie kept us off the presses for most of the semester. She tried to dictate the content of our work. 7 out of 9 graduate students left with incompletes; this is a first. I learned Letterpress from the staff of Columbia's Book & Paper Center.
