Extra credit on tests in order to make sure questions were all fair! Fair teacher!! My favorite teacher this semester! I learned so much!! She is very helpful and the quizzes help learn the material. She provides a practice quiz to help study before quiz

Comment:

Dr. Cunningham was a wonderful professor. She is full of life, loves to teach, and is very knowledgeable about nutritional facts. Every test is graded twice, the first being run through the scanner and the second with her omitting questions missed by most of the class. She curves all tests, gives study guides with exact questions to the test. Easy!

In order to do well in this class she says you must read the (large) textbook 3 times. Her quizzes ask random questions from the text that you wouldn't expect to be asked. She does give at least a 10 pt curve on many quizzes/tests though. She is challenging but not impossible.

She was such a great teacher. I am a marketing major and took Nutrition as my non-business elective, did not realize it was a nursing core class but I loved the class! Made an A - sad to see her retire but just wanted to share my opinion on her teaching!

Dr. C is an amazing teacher. It is a hard class, but she knows so much about the subject matter. She takes some getting used to, but it's worth it. Read the book and go to class.

Medical Terminology was an online class. We met up 3 times the whole semester. Once at the beginning, midterm, & final. Everything else (quizzes/small tests)are done on your own online. Very easy & convenient. EASY A! and you just have to barely skim over chapters. It's common sense!!!!

This class was easy for me; however, my concentration is for Nutrition. So, it was kind of my niche. There is a lot of reading! 30page chapters. Tests are usually over 4 chapters. Weekly quizzes are pretty easy if you have read your book. If not, you probably won't pass.

Food prep management is not an easy class. The reading was very extensive. tests can be over 11-12 chapters. Dr. Cunningham is cool, but it was really too much information to be covered in one semester. godspeed.

I think Dr. Cunningham is under the impression that all her student in HEC 2020 are Nutrition majors..which is simply not the case. She is crazy hard! She has quizzes every wk & her exams are INSANE. Be prepared to make best friends with the book & make this class one of your major focuses.

This class is so BORING!! If you can take it with someone else do so! She lives and breathes nutrition and expects you to also. If you form a relationship with your book and read it everyday you will pass the class. Otherwise stay far away!!!

Do not take this class! She covers too much information at one time. There are weekly "quizzes" that turn out to actually be tests with about 25-30 questions that she just randomly picks out of the chapters. Especially not good to take if you are a nursing major and need to focus on Anatomy.

This class is awful. The professor goes over too much information, and when it comes time to study for the test it gets confusing. Way too much information given out at one time too really understand what is going on. Don't take it with this teacher.

I hated this class. All she does it lecture and that is so boring and hard to follow. Tests were multiple choice but included 3 or 4 chapters at one time. Tried to have a sense of humor but her jokes are really corny.

Comment:

Good teacher, knows her material. Test questions are mostly from lecture notes, with some from the book, and some from quiz questions. Stays after class 1 day a week to answer questions and will tell you which parts are more important to study. Some extra credit. Not hard if pay attention in class.
