Awesome instructor! She is a phenomenal public speaker. She keeps the class lively, gets everyone involved and talking, remembers names, draws everyone out, and personalizes examples. It was a great class. Tests are tough and some assignments vague but she'll say "If the instructions are vague ASK for clarification."

This is the most byass teacher i have ever had. If you are black or you play sports you will have no problem gettin the grade you want. If you do not fall into that catagory....good luck!

O geeze. I liked her a lot before I actually had to take a real class from her. She is very very unorganized and does not explain anything. I felt lost most of the time and frustrated the rest of the time! I would suggest not taking her class if you can avoid it!

Research Methods ... Horrible class! Hardest class of my life... very unorganized teaching. I was always confused with what the assignments were and how to do them. Group assignment sucked!

Great class to take for the week long summer session! classwork and assignments reasonable. great lady, keeps you interested through activites. great stories and sense of humor. can come off as intimidating and is very blunt. must read the book to do well on tests! definitely gives real life information, more so then in other classes.

Research Methods. Dr. Walls is a great teacher. She is intense and funny. This class was incredibly difficult, but my writing improved dramatically by the end of the course. She is very helpful and willing to meet with students after class or during her office hours. Highly recommend!

Celeste is an excellent speaker/teacher and easy to take notes from. She makes concepts easy to understand by reinforcing them through in-class activities and participation. Her exams aren't easy and can be pretty tricky, but she's fair on grading so the class isn't too difficult.

She is funny at times but puts you on the spot too much. Very hard to take clear notes from and her choice in textbooks suck. She grades papers very well and fairly, however her exams are the worste short answer t/f ever! I will say she comes off being more of a hardass than she is though.

I love Prof Walls and agree with what others have said... tough teacher and blood pressure high, but she's super smart and funny and helpful and just cool if you can force yourself to take a few deep breaths. One of my fave profs I've ever had.
