She progressively gets worse. The first time I had she wasn't too awful, but this time she was a nightmare. She's extremely nice to the people who brown nose her, but if you actually have creativity- she'll hate you. She should've stayed as a high school teacher because that's how she conducts class. Avoid her.

The worst. Prof. Seigel is an old bat who is stuck in her ways. If you don't give her exactly what she wants then she will completely discount it. She has marked me down on things that previous teachers (plural) said I excelled at. Part of the old guard of teaching that has messed up the education system in NYC. Oh, she's a "celebrity" & "genius"

Excellent professor! She is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She will teach you a lot about journalism if you're willing to learn.

She is a decent professor. She knows journalism well. She tends to put people to sleep though. I would avoid her in the future if I could, but luckily for me I won't have to take any of her classes again. If I was forced to it wouldn't be the end of the world though.

Seigel may appear intimidating at first but she is actually very helpful and knowledgeable. She believes that constant revision is neccesary and she is always available to help. You *will* come out of her class a better journalist.

She had her downsides: took weeks to hand assignments back, always came in late, lost track of time and went off tangent; she also made herself very accessible and helpful outside class and once let me use her computer for something I needed. She redeemed herself there. Overall, not bad if you find yourself with her under the course offering.

the class is very easy for me. you can always revise your papers if necessary. class can be fun. She does seem a bit disorginazed, but she does know her stuff.
