Worst person I might have run into at this institution. Goes off topic easily goes on random tangents and yells. I will never again be able to use the word "particular" without thinking of his face. God help those who deal with him as he is nearly impossible to understand and please. Curses at students in class very republican and will debate you.

Absolutely terrible!!! worst teacher I've ever had in my entire college career. Took the entire class to explain one thing, and would get so angry at the class that he would often walk out and not come back. Uses profanity, said the word particular way to much, ate uncooked vegetables from his pockets. Don't recommend to anyone looking to learn

He means well- patronizes more often than is understanding, but his tough love is to get you to THINK about your observations for class discussions. I received an A in the course by showing him effort in my work and in class participationlectures. He's rough on the edges. Do your work and don't focus on his scorning comments then you'll be fine.

While he is not my favorite teacher, if you show up to class regularly and actually read the assignments and put forth any effort in class discussions he is a perfectly pleasant and actually hilarious teacher. If you skip class all the time and don't read anything, he gets frustrated and kinda angry. So pretty much the students set the tone, but he gets nicer about halfway through the semester regardless.

he didn't count attendence but towards finals he said that it would go towards the grade. it takes the whole class to go through one questioin .I would not recommend Poremba at all!He relates the subject to his life stories and it isn't helpful.The thing that irks me the most is his habbit of eating radishes,cellery,carrots,and brocolli. Ugh!

Serious. it takes him 50 minutes to explain something, and he makes it SO HARD to understand what he is trying to teach because you get lost in his examples, but at the end of his explanation, he says one sentance that makes total sense, and then you sit there and wonder WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!
