Comment:

Mrs. Cherie is great as long as you show up every day and do what is expected of you. If you do this then you will get a good grade. I took her in honors speech so she was a little harder on us, but the way she lectures is very easy to understand and she tells you exactly what to write down for notes.

I absolutely love Mrs. Cherie. The way she lectures and gives notes is perfect and all of the projects she assigns are fun. She is very personal and just down to earth. She would bring donuts to class every couple weeks, she is amazing!

I took Speech during a summer semester, so attendance was mandatory, of course. Mrs. Williams is a quality instructor. You definitely have to work for your grade, but that's a good thing IMO. But she is thorough and clear and very helpful. I definitely recommend taking her if you have the option!!

I had Mrs. Williams for speech. She was a tough grader on our speeches, but I learned so much from her. I really enjoyed her class. She is always there to help her students in any way. Her test were pretty easy if you review for them.

Mrs. Cherie Williams is a wonderful teacher. She has a ton of experience in the field as well as teaching. She gives you every opportunity to do well in her class. If you show up for class and do your work you should do well. She is not necessarily easy, but she gives you plenty of extra credit. I am taking two more of her classes next semester.

The beginning of the semester she gave us a syllabus, and we followed that syllabus exactly. She was a good teacher but graded way to hard. The way she graded was like she was grading professional speakers. It also seemed like if she didn't like the topic you were doing you wouldn't receive a good grade.

Before the semester began, I was dreading speech class. I didn't want to be embarrassed & I was scared I would do poorly, but Mrs. Williams made speech fun. Listen to the notes and tips that she gives you, pick topics that you & the class may find interesting, & make your topic POP. Get the audience's attention! AWESOME CLASS! Speaking is easy now!

Visual aids are king in this class! Don't bother researching outlandish topics, you're only wasting your own time. Pick speech topics like you were having dinner with Sarah Palin and you'll do fine. Cry about puppy mills and you'll get an A no doubt. Or talk about something you care about and watch Cherry fall asleep.

I hate giving speeches but I put serious effort into giving out a lot of information the class probably was unfamiliar with...unfortunately I lost major points for coming up short on the time requirement once or twice. Others played youtube videos for 7 min. and got an A, because their 1 minute of speech was good and they took up enough time. wtf

I can only echo what's already been said. I just had Mrs. Williams for the summer semester, and she was better than I could ever have expected. Public speaking isn't my thing, but she gives you that confidence boost that "Yes, you can!" If not for her, I don't think I would've made it through Com 1010. Definite A++ teacher.

I had her for speech. This class is not easy, but you need to take her. You won't just float through but you will learn so much from her. She is an awesome teacher and she is so encouraging to everyone. I have already used stuff that I learned in her class in the real world. You will have to work in her class but its worth it, trust me!

A++ I loved Mrs Williams. I dont mind public speaking anymore. She was an awesome teacher. She never made you feel stupid even though I probably was sometimes. Take her for speech, she is the best speech teacher at Motlow. There is work and you wont pass if you are expecting to just go to class, sleep, then leave. You have to put forth effort
