Lots of work, and a field trip which was FUN! Discussions each week, a short report, a term paper and a few quizzes as well. DON'T PLAGARIZE THE TERM PAPER! Chip uses turnitin.com to check his papers, so you will get cuaght. All in all, a really great course, and quality professor to help you if you hit some tough areas. RECOMMENDED PROFESSOR!

This class was a good amount of work but Chip was the best. I don't think I have had a prof as interested in the subject matter that they tought more than him. The class does require a few papers and a "field trip" but if do the reading the tests and quizes are pretty easy. His attemps at humor had me LOL ever week,"If it an't Baroque, Dont fix it"

Love, Love, Loved this guy! He is very interactive with his students, and he is genuinely interested in helping in any way he can. Tests were pretty much straight from his lecture/powerpoint presentations, and discussion questions were related to both the lecture and the book. Alot of reading and writing, but very enjoyable.

Wow, wow and wow. What a great professor. I had him my first year at Strayer, and he really set the tone for the rest of my schooling. He made a subject in which I completely lacked interest, and made it worth attending class. Outstanding.

Extremely tough tests, grades papers as English papers always checking for grammatical errors. Tested material is straight from the slides and lecture. Studying from your book won't help much.

Excellent instructor, very personable. Avg. workload, he makes the course very interesting and always responds to student questions via email. He is fair in testing and grading.
