Her class is very difficult! However, she is extremely helpful at office hours. She is very good at finding multiple ways to explain concepts until you understand, and I think she is the type that will give a slight edge to those who come see her. Very nice and really wants to help you if she sees you are making an effort.

She bases her teaching on lectures with power points.There is so much information and you have to learn by yourself by reading and taking notes from the book because her lectures and powerpoints are very general and not very helpful on the exams. Don't depend on her lectures, and spend alot of time studying and taking notes from the textbook.

Her class was alright. You do have to put in a good amount of effort, but she will reward you for it. Her tests are pretty hard (watch out for the lab exams!) but they aren't full of tricks. Class can be pretty boring if you aren't interested in the subject at all, but if you have even a glancing interest, you should be alright.

I loved having Professor Barton. She really enjoys her material and can get virtually anyone to be excited about coming to class. She is extremely helpful, always available, and gives review sessions before every test.
