Not the teacher recommended for 095 students. Has the tendency to make you feel dumber than you are and talks to you like youre a 5 year old. Lectures the entire time and hardly answers questions because you should already know that she just went over it. Will make you feel dumb for not knowing simple math off the top of your head in two seconds

Comment:

She isn't that good of a professor. She makes a lot of mistakes,ones that I had to correct her on. Very rude and attitude filled. Often times when you ask a question she gives sass and she speaks to you as if you were in the third grade. Says she can help you but tells you to go to a tutor instead.

She is a good professor. She explains things in a strange/logical way which makes you understand the topic. I enjoyed her class after a few years of not taking a math class. Just make sure you come to class and do your homework. This is a math class You wont pass if you dont put the effort.

Comment:

This is the worst teacher to exist, she doesnt know how to teach the subject. Often creates problems for us to solve and makes mistakes on them. Teacher has so many flaws, no test makeup, she doesnt care if its an emergency. Do not take her class better going with a REAL professor rather than a teacher that seems more fitting for a hs teacher.

Does not waste a second of class time, goes over things as many times as needed, available to help you one on one, lots of homework that really prepares you for the test! Shes sassy too :)

shes a good professor, She gives too much homework but it helps at the tests, if you need help with anything she will help you, she grades all the homework, quizzes and test the same day, only thing i dont like about her is that she takes a bit long to email you back when you email her a question and that she assigns seats.

Took her over fast summer 8wks course. I was so worried but she always there for you. Even skipped her lunch just to help you understand her lecture clearly. She was one time told us that she will lock the door and won't let anyone leave until us all of us was clear with the lecture that day bcuz it was important one and she needs all of us focus.

Here why some students find her difficult: Most student skip class, don't do homework and expecting her to teach/explain everything they missed, or student who don't pay attention and just asking question to get attention. She only tell you to go to tutor because you skipped class the day before. Great prof who cares and loves you like her own.

I don't know why all the comments in the beginning are rated "awesome" when clearly she is the worst teacher ever. Need help? she'll say "go to a tutor?" She criticizes you if you do not do things her way and do not do homework. You will get a good nap in her class though. Good luck

I do not understand how she is a professor if she constantly tells you to go to tutoring if you need help and have many questions, is quite rude, all hell breaks loose if you correct her something on the board or something. Very forgetful and you have to remind her everything. Tests are hard, if you're good math you have no problem.

Whoever liked her class was probably a mathematician, because her class is not easy to take. She is forgetful and rude to students. She will get down on you if you do not your homework which is worth 10% of your grade! Please be cautious! Not easy professor at all!

This teacher is very rude to students. She does respect them at all! She makes you feel dumb if you do not know what you're doing or don't understand something! DO NOT TAKE HER!! She forgets a lot. And she will pin you down if you she wants to acting as if she's your mother?! NO. No one needs that from a professor especially if she's hella rude.

I took her as a saturday class and it was very fast pace but I love math and understand easily so it was perfect for me! She explains well and tells you everything how it is if you put effort and practice you will be okay! gives bonus questions through out the semester which is awesome

I am an older student and algebra is the hardest class I have ever taken. Ms. Chan goes completely through each process step by step and gives out worksheets to practice on. Success was due to taking detailed notes, never missing a class and reworking the worksheets until I understood them. Always answered questions I had.

Worst teacher ever! DO NOT TAKE IF MATH ISN'T YOUR STRONG SUBJECT!! She goes way too fast, often makes mistakes on the board but will call you out in front of the whole class if you make a mistake. She's rude to her students and only gives like 5 tests so once you get bad grades on like 2 of them you fail the class. DO NOT TAKE
