Brecht is clueless. Old-fashioned classroom policies and doesn't provide any meaningful help when asked. Definitely one of the most frustrating professors I have had to deal with.

She is a great professor who really knows her stuff. You can ask her anything and she will have the answer for you. This class was a 1/2 semester class and we did have a good amount of work but she spaced everything fairly and had extremely reasonable due dates. She does recommend you buy the text but I didn't and did just fine.

Good Professor that demands respect and deserves it. She has plenty of real life experience so take it in. Plenty of opportunity for extra credit. Approachable, so visit her office if you need help. If you disrupt class or use your phone, expect to be asked to leave. If you are serious about health education/nutrition, you will learn a ton.

shes so nice and happy and cute. the class is interesting too. however she always keeps you almost 3 hours and her exams have info that shes never talked about, put on the overhead, or in the book.. good class though i like her a lot

Love Prof. Brecht!! She will and does talk to you like you're in elementary school but she does know her stuff and makes class interesting most days...actually learned a lot from Nutrition class and had her two times before taking that...all A's but class can sometimes be boring with all the overheads

excellent teacher. class is easy... just go and relax or bring other work to do. it's class participation so you can regress back to 4th grade where everyone got to tell their stories. Tests are cake. if you have a brain youll get at least a B.

I had her for nutrition and she was better. She is a good person. Just not a great teacher. You will need to take a lot of notes to do well on her tests. Her assignments are time consuming except she tells you what you need to do and gives you an outline and rubric. Follow them and you will be ok.

Nice teacher, not the easiest grader. Maybe the people who said the terrible things about her are just sore losers that didn't get a good grade. you have to take ALOT of notes!!!! She is very entertaining, makes a boring class not so bad.

Very sweet teacher, clear explanations, even kind of funny. I like that she relates some topics to her family and life experiences. The tests aren't easy but i did ok cause i took lot of notes.

She's clueless.You ask a question in class and she tells you to go home and look up the answer. She teaches material incorerectly. Do not get me started on how bad she f***** up the Krebs cycle. Surely there is another person available to teach this class.
