One of the best professors at UAlbany. She is so knowledgeable and is willing to answer any question you have, and when she doesn't know the answer, she does her own research and comes back next class with one. This class is a little challenging if you don't have at least a slight background in biology, but it isn't impossible.

She is brilliant, insanely smart, and inspiring. She makes sure everyone is understanding the material and really cares about her students. She is always smiling and have a very sweet personality. She uses powerpoints and explains the material and a very simple way. Tests are fair, so if you study you will do good. Theres extra credit at the end!

The class itself is mostly bio rather than psych so it is difficult, however, prof Wagner explains things incredibly well. Lots of diagrams and she gives you the slides so you can focus on listening. The material for the first test is definitely the hardest, you just need to get through it. Study groups before each test and an extra credit paper

She would get ahead of herself while lecturing and it would get confusing. Most of class is bio related and not so much psychology related so if you struggle in biology this could be a hard class for you. She posts slides online so you do not have to go to class but she gives out extra credit point questions during class.

Dr. Wagner is an amazing professor, if you need to take APSY214 take it with her! The material can be tough but she makes sure to explain everything thoroughly until everyone understands. Not to mention she is funny and incredibly nice. Also gives extra credit on days where attendance is light. This class was my favorite class I've ever taken.

Class is easy, just hard to pay attention to sometimes. Tests aren't hard, but you won't do well on them if you don't study. Gives out extra credit when she sees attendance is light and also has an extra credit paper at the end of the semester. Has weekly blackboard quizzes which are incredibly easy and used just to boost graded

Christine was an amazing professor. She gives extra credit randomly if you go to class. It isn't required to be there, & she posts her slides online, though she makes lectures interesting, & if you do go, you probably won't do well. Would recommend her. She's very smart and more than willing to help if you ask her.

This isn't really just Dr. Wagner, this class is taught by a different professor every week. Dr. Wagner is the coordinator for it, and does a great job and is relatively flexible. Be prepared to read journals, and write about a 2 page paper for homework every week. AUDIO RECORD THE LECTURES and take good notes.

Awesome professor. I'm actually terrible with this stuff, and I got a 92 on my first test. Everything is very clear. The slides are colorful and interesting and keep you entertained. But they are incomplete. Must go to class to pass. She's very helpful and teaches in a way easy to understand. Offers extra credit, too since there are only 4 exams.

Not very clear, because neuroscience is a developing science. There are still many things we do not know about the brain. Dr. Wagner is an amazing professor, GO TO HER OFFICE HOUR IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. she spent hours explaining a particularly difficult topic to me one day. slides are not detailed, GO TO CLASS!

APSY214 is a required class for psych majors but taking it with professor wagner wasn't too bad. Make sure you attend class even though she posts the slides online, because she will explain everything much more clearly. YOU DON'T NEED THE TEXTBOOK. Everything on her tests were straight for the lectures. Gives a bit of extra credit also

Professor Wagner is very nice and clear on her lectures. The course itself was a bit difficult so I had to put much more work into it than my other classes, but I ended up with an A even though I basically failed my first test. Attend her lectures, take good notes, and you will pass. You don't need the textbook at all

Nervous about taking the class at first, there was some Biology in it but she made it easy to understand and had a lot of diagrams. go to the lectures, it is easier to understand it when she explains it than when your just reading it on blackboard. Straight forward grading, and easy extra credit, overall I would take a course taught by her again.

Great teacher. Posts notes to blackboard. She's very helpful and very great. Content requires some knowledge of biology, but easy to manage. Lectures are detailed and clear, always asks if her explanations are clear. She's also really nice and understanding, which was very helpful for me with a lot of complications this semester.

IDK why I had such a hard time with this class, but I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone. She never emailed me back anytime I sent her a message, never was at her office when she said she would be. This was the first class that I ever failed in my life. If science isn't your thing, don't do this to yourself.

For a pretty difficult course to teach, Professor Wagner couldn't do a better job. She makes it as clear and precise as possible. It's a tough class, and the exams are a little tough, but certainly reasonable. There's no surprises, you just really need to know your stuff. A little more biology based than I was hoping, but not her fault. Great prof!

Professor Wagner is one of the best I've had so far. In a class this large, she some how finds a way to make you feel like it's personal and she actually cares that you understand. She goes slow and steady and makes sure everyone has a chance to get the lecture slides. She's more than happy to go more into depth when asked and is super helpful.

Great professor. In class goes over everything at a good pace in good detail. Tests are a bit difficult but fair and not too picky. Enjoyed the class, interesting things learned. She also does a good job relating what you learn to the real world.
