Very sweet professor but lectures were confusing. She contradicted herself often. Definitely attend class because many points toward your final grade are in class participation.

Worst teacher in every sense of the way. I would not recommend her. She is very scatterbrained and forgets things she says she will do for you. If she gives you study material she won't put up an answer sheet til the night before and even then the answer sheet will have mistakes. Her lab course is equally as bad.

Not a hard class at all, really have to try at failing to receive a bad grade. She is a great professor, very helpful and not just with the course she teaches.

Dr. Russell is a great professor, for lecture and lab. The class is tough but she tries to help you understand as easy as possible. You have to study for the exams, they are the difficult part of the class. Labs help bring your grade up. Do as much extra credit as you can, they really help your grade if you're on the border line of a letter grade.

Worst professor I've ever had. Doesnt know anything about A&P - should bot be teaching the lab --AWFUL. She has no idea how to explain info and doesn't seem to know the material AT ALL! Very confusing, can't answer questions & gets confused when you ask her for help. She is NOT knowledgable about anatomy or physio. DON'T TAKE LAB WITH HER!!

Russell is a great teacher. I had her for lab and lecture. Lab requires a lot of tedious work but it's not that difficult. Her lectures were really good. The material is hard- no matter who your teacher is! But Dr. Russell really wants to help you learn! I loved her! :)

Uses powerpoints in class. I did not learn very well from her method of teaching and was often confused. Uses various in-class activities to aid student learning. Tests are difficult. Made an A in this class due to a 5 point extra credit survey on the final exam, which brought me up to 903 points. No curves on tests. You earn every grade you get.

Man this was my hardest class of the semester. She is an awesome, extremely helpful teacher though. Just don't make the same mistake I made, which was not doing the readings. She teaches with powerpoint every day and gives clear presentations. Make sure you look over old exams, as the exams you will take are the hardest part of the class. I got a C

Only uses powerpoint, a lot of work required for labs. Very helpful outside of class but if you dont have a bilogy backround you will have to study... A LOT!! Very nice but the tests are difficult, comprehensive, and require thorough understanding to do well.Class average on exams usually in the 70's but lab usually brings up your overall grade.

I had Russell for anatomy lab. I personally did not like her teaching style. We would come into class take the quiz or practical, then we were on our own. She did help a little with the disections, but I feel that she needed to explain way more. In lecture the teacher would say-you will learn this in lab...well I didn't learn anythig from her...

I really liked her, I just didn't like her teaching style. Everything was powerpoint and went pretty fast. Her tests were usually outrageous. I think she thought that her class was the ONLY class I was taking at the time, considering all the time I had to put into it. Her best attribute was being so helpful outside of class. Be prepared!!

She uses the internet/powerpoint for everything. I really don't like that. The group work helps because it actually gives me time to think about what she shows during her presentation. She is nice, and seems to care about her students. Overall, I do not like her style of teaching.

Different people have different opinions about her style of teaching. Personally, I didn't like it. She teaches using powerpoint and therefore speeds through EVERYTHING! I also did not feel as though she explained things very clearly.
