I found this class odd. I felt like the professor used the discussion format to practice psychology on the students. It made me feel uncomfortable. I liked the textbook format. This class is definitely not an easy A.

Dr. Reed's lectures are clear and fun to attend. She helps you relate the concepts to real life scenarios. Must have the book to pass - tests built verbatim from book. Recommended for general psych.

Comment:

Took her class online in fall 2013. Overall average quality. There were only 7 exams including the final which was comprehensive and nothing else..no DB, no writing papers, and no extra credit at all. There are makeups for each and every exam even the final. Only the person who has great knowledge of psychology and interest in it can get an A.

If you want a test review... DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. There are absolutely NO test reviews. If her test is on a Friday then the week of that test you will still move on to the next chapter...... she doesn't go exactly by the book it seems like she adds extra information. One exception, she gives the whole weekend to complete tests!

She has a weird sense of fashion, but she is a very good prof. She really knows her stuff, & it shows. She is nice & will go out of her way to help/explain if you need it. She shows powerpoints as notes. All of the work & tests are online. You must keep up with lots of due dates. PSYC in general, wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but I passed

Dr. Reed's ITV class consists of taking tests and reading the book and watching videos from the book. The tests had the most obscure questions that weren't covered in the text, and she provided no review, and so for the tests, it was hard to study without studying everything. This class was a pain to get an A in.

It has been a full semester since I had Dr. Reed in the Fall of 2012. I am just now reviewing because she is AMAZING and I have not stopped thinking about how grateful I am for taking her class. Yes, her class is not easy, but if you love psych, it is a MUST! My knowledge base in psych was given the BEST Possible foundation due to her class!! :)

The class it's self is easy, everything come straight from the book but the problem is that her tests, quizes and assignments are randomly available for 3 days at a time. Test 1 might be available on Sun-Tues then test 2 is Fri-Sun, assignment 3 could be available Wed-Fri. It's never the same day and makes it hard to keep up with.

I took her ITV class and actually am making a career in psychology. She offered to speak to me on the phone, was ALWAYS helpful, emailed back right away and honestly, if you study, there should be no problem! I LOVED this class AND the professor.

She was a very good teacher and not boring at all. However she started a new way of doing online quizzes and tests through the book. Her lectures and the book are very similar but the quizzes and test can sometimes have random questions. You MUST read alot in this class to do good on the assignments, but she is a cool teacher and open.

First off.. I made an A but that wasn't an issue. Come to class and she'll give you what you need to pass with flying colors. But DO NOT ever speak in class, come late or look as if your not interested. Beware, She's has her favorites! Make sure you side with her on your papers, too!! Or your grade will reflect!

Dr. Reed was wonderful, very understanding and supportive. She responds to all your emails. She keeps the entire class motivated to the end. As long as you do the assignments, quizzes and testing’s on the deadlines you're OK. Do the practical questions, my class textbook didn't came on time, and still make an A. This online class was my first ever.

SUPER EASY. I made an A and didn't open the book. She puts everything you need to know in her power point slides, but you have to go to every class. I would take any class she taught that I needed, but she is leaving Texas so that's no good!

this teacher wrote more emails about her being 'DR. Reed' not Mrs. REED(& yes we are in a county college so who cares lady) she sounds full of herself and all detailed questions came from quizzes which were a bit hard to know where to study from. Did not enjoy her as a "proffessor"

Very good teacher. She makes her class pretty dynamic. I dont remember her talking about God. her tests are multiple choice. and if you pay attention in class and read the book, you should do fine. Most important PAY ATTENTION because her quizzes are based on what she talks about.

She is a really strict prof. but very helpful. You have to ready prior to attending her class because she will give a quiz at the end of each chapter. She knows what she is talking about and makes class fun.

Absolutly no studyguides for the quizzes/tests,which is fine except she chooses to have DETAILED questions that came from single sentences from paragraphs in the book.One question I had to look it up afterwards because it made me so mad.This class takes up all of my time.After the test you get to squeeze in 2 chapers the next week.VERY STRESSFULL!
