I found him to be really helpful... I was a freshman in the science class, and any time I needed help, he was there. He let me use a calculator since I didn't have one and showed me how to work it. Attendance wasn't always mandatory, but it helped when I went to class. I hardly studied and passed with a B+. Final was easy. would reccomend again.

It was a distant learning class and the professor did not have very good communication skills. His test are horrible they were all fill in the blank never mulp. choice and when he had a reveiw for the test not even a 1/3 was on there. It was a horrible experience.

The first week or so of class I SERIOUSLY considered dropping, but I stuck with it. In the end I made an A. The tests are tough, but if you study and ask questions you'll be fine. The people that really have trouble in this class are the ones that put forth little or no effort. If your struggling talk to him!!! Good Luck!

Dr. Fry is a very good Analytical Chemistry teacher. He will help any student who comes to his office and needs help, and he is concerned with the students' understanding of the material he teaches. He knows his material well, but is not above admitting to something he does not know, which is a rare trait in teachers.

ok well i have a lot to say! his class sucks do not take him for nothing! he may seem like he will be easy but he told us that only like 7% was passing his class this semester and he blames us for not listening! he gave us a test with six chapters and the first test wasn't until mid term! Dr Fry was HELL! He did not explain**** and was unable to answer your questions. This truly is unprofessional. When the whole class failed a test and he offered a make-up he refused to change the grades (i.e. I made a F on the first and a D on the retake and did not recieve the D.) Avoid him at all cost!

I did not like this man's class at all because he was not helpful. I had to refer to my high school chemistry notes to pass this class. I like chemistry and he made me hate it. I ended up with a B but I had an A and he missed three weeks of class and came back to give us our exam 3 and final after not teaching us anything for exam 3. Not cool!
