Dale didn't even grade the first assignment until the course was over! The first assignment was due the end of August and he didn't grade it until the beginning of DECEMBER! This ends up giving you no chance to see what kind of grader he is. There are 5 assignments in total and a weekly quiz. This guy is super LAZY!!! BEWARE

The best person I have ever worked with. Fair and very clear on his expectations. The people before me must have not even tried doing their classwork because if you're there and you do what you should, he's the best professor. Do what you are assigned and come to class on time. It's really not that hard to have an enjoyable experience with him.

This man obviously did not end up where he wanted to. He is incredibly unhappy, and the worst part is that his pessimism is contagious to the fullest extent. He is awkward, rude, ignorant, and intolerant. I'd suspect that his entire career has been a midlife crisis for himself.

All around great guy. I say "hi" to him and chat with him almost every day. Most profs want their students to succeed. Mr. Haefner wants you to be proficient more than you do. And seriously, if you're gonna be a music major, learn the freakin piano. It's not that hard to get proficient. If you work, he's a very pleasant and enjoyable guy

The only reason you'd be in his class is if you have to for a music degree. Hopefully you can teach yourself how to play piano because he won't help you, and often makes it harder as he glares at you and interupts your playing to yell at you.
