Comment:

Dale gives you all the tools you need to succeed in his class, you just need to show up pay attention and participate in order to fully grasp the concepts. The exams are almost all written and will definitely make your hand hurt but if you understand the learning objectives and are able to explain them in your own words you'll do fine.

Comment:

Exams take a lot of studying, but they are fair. If you devote time to study, you'll be fine. Group project was fun.. Assignments were relatively simple. Great and funny professor. He takes the time to talk to students and remember their names. Shared a lot of funny anecdotes. Overall, you learn a lot in the class, and the lectures are interesting.

Comment:

Professor Rude truly cares about his students and gives meaning to his lectures. Behavioral finance is statistics heavy and the tests are written, you need to show depth and understanding of each topic. Lectures are fun and he gives real life examples. He is easily one of my favorite professors and has a good memory of all of his students.

One of the reviews here says 'How to Live Life'. Well yes, if you are an undergrad and dont know any better. As an MBA student, please realize that this class is not your usual elective. This is a bridge between psych and finance. If this topic does not interest you, you will find yourself questioning your choice. Dale is a great professor though.

Awesome professor. One of the best in the business school. He cares about all of his students and values everyone's opinions. Very nice guy. Everything was easy. I got A's on everything without much effort.

Comment:

Best class I've taken so far. Class should be called "How to Live Your Life" instead of "Behavioral Finance." I think it should be required for every freshman rather than an elective for grads. Great teacher, great course.

Tests were mainly essay. Final exam was also essay and lengthy. Devoted professor who is really interested in the subject. Very engaging with lecture discussion. Not an easy class. Try to do every assignments given to you well and you might do well on tests. A study partner would be helpful. There are couple books you have to read for the class.

Awesome Professor, takes care of his students. You will learn a lot in Managemenet. You have to work twice as hard in his class. Attend every lecture to understand the concepts. you will have Three exams, one team project, one team presentation, one paper, and three books to read with quizes on them....lots of work, but you will master alot.

He is very nice. Care for students. If you have any problems, he is willing to answer.The class is very interesting. You will definitely learn something in it. The projects and papers are stressful at first. However, when you get used to it, you can do it well. Would recommend.

Nice professor, but A LOT of work. Be prepared to be extremely busy reading books, writing papers, studying for exams, etc. IF you devote a lot of time to studying/preparing outside of class, you will get an A. Tests are essay and he gives a review sheet with the topics for the exam the week before.

AWESOME PROFESSOR, amazing teacher uses real life examples & issues. No textbook, gives u the notes. In the begining the class won't make any sense but it ALL comes together a couple of weeks into the course. Exams are essays but gives you all the topics to be covered. Read books and take the quiz or opt to do a review insead..and 1 group project

Dale is one of the nicest professors, but his tests are HORRIBLE!!! I studied the material inside out and yet still make a bad grade. The grading on the test is very unfair, but the grading on projects and papers are okay.
