INCREDIBLY HARD class. Very difficult to learn because he focuses on the tiniest of details. Read ALL the fine print and know it well-he WILL test you on it. Sample quiz question: "What was the title of chapter 2"--totally serious, that was a question. felt like there's a hierarchy in grades: Male athletes, males, female athletes, then females

Dr. Wright is a phenomenal teacher. He pushes his students to their limits, but it is all worth it in the end. He's an extremely knowledgeable professor who knows what he's talking about, and he can offer insight to other parts of your life despite just English. HE MAKES YOU WORK FOR YOUR GRADE, so if you prefer the easy way out--don't bother.

I was excited to take this class, and from someone so knowledgeable about the subject. I withdrew after three weeks. Dr. Wright is unclear. He assigns one reading, then tests on something different. My entire class was confused, and he didn't even try to clarify. I would avoid this professor at all cost. It was unfortunate that I had to drop.

I'm saddened to have come across a Professor who is devoid all the attributes of a caring teacher.Dr. Wright should not be in the teaching field.He has proven that having great knowledge in a subject does not make you capable of teaching it.I do not recommend him to anyone, not even to my worst enemies.An absolute disgrace for a teacher!

It's unfortunate that Dr. Wright does not make any effort to connect with his students.I find him impersonal,uncaring,and dull.He is very knowledgeable in his subject matter, but does not do well in teaching it.

There are 12 people in my class, and he doesn't know one person's name. He is not clear on what he wants for speeches and has such a pompous and fake way of speaking that I don't want to learn how to publicly speak like him! I'm so happy this class is over with.

I had several classes with Doc Wright. He's passionate about Shakespeare but doesnt give a damn about the students. He was the most impersonal professor, has no office hours, does not respond to emails, and his personality is arrogant & terrible. It's sad that he has many qualifications and knowledge to offer but too bad he's very antisocial.

Dr. Wright is very passionate about his shakespeare stuff. If only he cared as much about his students. He is the most impersonal professor I have had a concordia. If you are a male soccer player this is the professor for you.

I took almost every English class offered with Doc (I don't know why he's labeled as a geography teacher). He is wonderful. His standards are high and he doesn't put up with BS. Every assignment and all expectations are very clear. The only people who don't like him are lazy students. He's awesome!
