Legit authority on Continental (BC profs always seemed skewed toward Analytics, so he pesence was needed). Heidegger particularly was well-taught and in great depth. Always had huge cold sores, but it really turned me on for some reason. I was into that. Good to see her back at BC.

Worst professor ever. She takes points off for the dumbest things in tests and homework. Even when she gives you the wrong information she can't admit her mistakes and won't give you the credit.

Prof. Belu is probably the best professor any of us will have had the opportunity to take. Her knowledge on the subject can be a bit intimidating, but if you hang in there, it will prove to be one of the most intellectually enriching experiences of your life.

By far, the most thought inducing class I've taken. I was interested in existentialism and philiosphy before, and I only desire to learn more now. I think she did a great job explaining and discussing the texts, and clarifying many ambigous ideas. Plus, she speaks her mind, and you can't criticize a prof for that.

Prof. Belu can be a little initimidating at the beginning but is honestly a great professor. There's no trickery with her. If you show up for the class and follow her in-depth reviews, you should do fine. She's very helpful and always willing to update you on your progress in the class. Very good!

This was the WORST class I've taken in Brooklyn College.Her hour and 15min ramblings made me want to jump out that 4th floor classroom window.When I first started I was interested in philosophy but she made it so damnn boring jeeeez & talk about unapproachable.Usually Im very alert but she makes you want to sleep the whole time.Don't do it 2 urself

she is one of the best professors i've ever had. this class was challenging and taught me alot about myself. for anyone serious about learning i recommend her. i took her twice and used my remaining elective credits to do so. she was very knowledgable about the subject matter and was helpful.

She was very picky most days and seemed to always be in a bad mood. She rambles on and on so it's tough to pay attention. She's a tough grader, but not a tough professor if you know how to take her class... Don't take her too seriously.

She is very strict with being on time in fact overly strict on being on time. She only gave 2 quizes and 2 test (midterm and final. But the way she comes across is not as a person teaching adult, but more like that of she is teaching children, easy A but she will rub you the wrong way more alot

You just have to breath to pass her class, but its mad boring. She gives too much reading, but you can always read cliffs. If you want to get an A, you gotta work your ass off

She's a good professor. She gives pop quizzes if she sees that the class is not doing their reading. Her exams are straight forward and in essay form. You will definitely learn a lot from her. She really knows her material.

I felt she treated the class as if we were in elementary school. Many of us were returning adult students which didn't phase her.
