This lady is incredible! She will have days where attendance is optional and you can get extra help. Even for small questions. She will even stay after class to help you if she's able to. Best English class I've ever taken and I plan to take any other classes she teaches.

This was a great class, but be prepared to learn for yourself. The books do not really need to be read, as long as you can do the folder for each one. Awesome teacher. She really wants all her students to exceed. Gives a lot of helpful tips to students that are going to be teachers. Makes grammar not so boring. You get to use your notes on everything and you can make up tests. Strong recommendation!!

She's extremely helpful and encourages you to think for yourself. There really are no due dates in her class. You can turn in every single assignment on the last day if you want, but if you turn them in on time you can re-do your papers and get a better grade if you want.

Dr Wilshire is the best English teacher I've had at PSU-Altoona. She is very helpful when writing papers and allows you to redo them if you wish to do better. Also, when writing your research paper you have many days of "open classes" where you dont need to attend and you can just work at home. TAKE HER if you need a prof for English 15 :)

Yup!This is the best professor ever! She helps you be a better writer without you realizing it. You write for like 6 weeks, and then she gives you the rest of the semester to concentrate on your hardcore classes. Yup. I always looked forward going to class even though I was usually late. haha.lol. I was the Joe Darko who did his work and enjoyed it

I love Darla's class. She makes an otherwise crappy subject enjoyable. She encourages you to write how you feel comfortable and emphasizes the importance of using your own mind. If I wasn't graduating in May, I'd take many more of her classes.
