I had a very uncomfortable time in this class. This professor is unapproachable- talking to him results in nothing and he mocks your questions. The tests that he gave were impossible; I saw exams from another professor which looked like 1st grade stuff compared to what Gluck tested us on. He's all over the place - DO NOT TAKE.

Prog. Gluck is an excellent mathematician. If you want to know the subject well take his class. He is very good at explaining, expects students to do homework and encourage a lot of questions. Respects students and a fair grader. I liked this class a lot.

very odd man. never stops looking at his watch. on tests and quizes you have to do it his way, or you lose points. Even if the answer is right. he is very hard to follow in class, and ends up confusing the class multiple times. he knows the math, but he cant teach it to you. avoid his classes

Gluck's exams are not difficult, they just require "out of the box" thinking. Most of the problems in the text were more difficult than his exam questions. This guy knows his math. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a solid understanding of basic math. He is very organized, and does everything that he is responsible for.

A shock if you're used to friendly, persionable professors, not too helpful in class. Quizzes are useless but good for gauging how you'll do on the exams. Homework is not turned in but pivotal for exams. Self motivation is key.

Guck is terrible. I had some trouble at the beginning of the semester, so I went to Gluck for help. he just looked up my info, found that I was a transfer student, bashed the community collage I went to and then told me that I was going to fail his class, and should drop it and take calc 1 and 2 over again. this teacher should be fired he's so bad.

Prof. Gluck comes very prepared to classes, he does all the problems out ahead of time. Tests are fair problems that follow the homework and quizes. He makes clear presentations and i would reccomend him! but I can see how maybe higher level students could understand him better than younger, notice how most of the poor comments are from calc 1.

Grade consist of 3 exams and 1 group final. He has weekly quizzes that only help your grade in border line situations but don't hurt your grade if you bomb them. Very unsocialable and weird towards students. Doesn't collect HW but tests are based off of this. He looks like the older version of Napoleon Dynamite. Overall: okay but not the best.

Avoid if possible. Homework is not assigned and all problems must be done his way or you will fail. Do homework to practice doing the problems his way and make sure to show even the slightest bit of work (even the most obvious steps) because you will be marked down if you get even part of your WORK wrong.

Strange guy, knows his stuff.Not very personable. Quizes once a week to test knowledge, they dont hurt your grade, only help if you're borderline between 2 grades. Test problems look a lot like quiz problems. HW not graded, but he goes over it, it helps to do it if having trouble, or just look it over and make sure you at least know HOW to do it.
