Cool guy! Santa ClausLumberjack looks, haha. Lab was boring sometimes, but Kanarr is willing to help. Plays music during lab, and you get out early a lot. DON'T underestimate lab assignments, he's a tough grader. If you follow instructions, you'll be okay, though. I managed an high Blow A in the class.

Hes an awesome lab professor overall. He can be grumpy but if you ask him for help he'll basically give you the answers. He also plays music during every lab. And we got out of every lab early. Definitely take him.

The man looks like Santa Clause. It's pretty cool. He does still play classic rock during labs. You may get to go outside twice. Indoor labs are real boring and just a pain to get through. Easy though, and Kanarr is always willing to help. Don't show up late! He hates that and will give you an evil look and maybe lock you out. No lab final for us

Nicest man ever. Have for lab and super easy. Very helpful and basically tells you the answers before you start the lab. Can finish the labs in 30-45 min if you stay focused. Can make up labs during other lab classes or at the end of the year. Great class.

Great lab but final is very hard. Had great grades all semester on labs but the final killed it for me. Ended up with a B instead of the A I was walking into the final with. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great music, too. This professor rocks. Would definitely recommend.

sweetest man in the world. is very willing to help all of the students, and you can learn a lot from him. sometimes he contradicts what you learn in class, but his way is usually easier. plus, he plays killer music during labs. haha

Taught my astronomy lab. Very good, I learned more in lab once a week then I did in my lecture class which I had to go to three times a week. Ask him questions and he knows how to be clear and tell you the answer. Very nice guy too.

Star watching is probably the least fun I have ever had in my life. If you enjoy 40 minute round trips to the middle of nowhere and then drawing every single star in the sky on paper, take him. I think hes the only astronomy lab teacher so you probably will anyway. Id recommend skipping star watching lab and using the make up at the end of semester

I didn't think he was helpful. I asked him questions and he would just look at me and not answer, it was kind of strange. He was still kind of nice though, but I wish that I had had someone different because I didn't feel that he was thorough.
