He's strict on the essays but he's willing to help you do better. Also, he never stops talking from the second he walks into class, his class can get extremely boring.

good teacher - hard grader. he often talks too much but its not a boring class. essays are graded harshly, theres 2 of them. he's very strict with absences and latenesses. basically if you're responsible and a good essay writer take him, you'll like the class. if not, be ready to work your butt off. he's a nice guy tough, pushes to do your best.

Very clear, talented, passionate, well rounded, very interesting, challenging professor. I learned so much from him in just one semester. You have to participate, keep-up with your homework and papers to write, but at the end you will benefit from it a lot. If you really want to learn, this is the right professor to go to. Highly recommended.

He was so BORING. It was so hard to stay up in his class. Talks way too much & gets off topic. I never understood what he was saying when he tried to get a point across. Cell phones were not allowed or food. He will call you out if you have either.

Taking his class will make you hate English. He talks about controversial topics going on in the real world and basically just talks for the entire class. However, do the work, participate some, and it's an easy A.

I do not think he is a good professor. Extremely boring, difficult grader and didn't give papers back in a timely fashion and when he did give you your paper back he wrote all over it and you could hardly read it. He praises class participation & attendance, so if you're someone that doesn't like to talk in class, don't take the class.

Excellent English teacher! Rosner's def. a hard grader but WILL make you a better writer. He's extremely strict on attendence and no disrutpion in class. 3-4 essays a semester.. Rosner's quite funny and is very clear in teaching. He will answer your questions if any.. class is always the full 75min... take him if you want to improve in ENG.

He's super nice and really cares about students, but SO BORING. He's very strict on assignments, being prepared, and attendance. There are multiple journals due every week and 1 short story due by mid October. If you don't like doing a lot of work, showing up to every class, or listening to professors talk forever, I wouldn't recommend this prof.

If you're a student who will ALWAYS be prepared and barely be absent, this is the class for you. Rosner is strict on attendance, otherwise he'll just take points off. You always have to bring your textbooks too. He talks a lot but he's a good professor. He can tend to be a tough grader, so be prepare to proofread essays over and over again.

he is super hard about having your text books which btw both cost over 130 toughter which is crazy for an eng class, he gives hw everyday, more then 3 absences and you might as well drop cuz he lowers your grade after that, but he is resonable. He rambles on about the same**** but can be interesting. HARD GRADE, only 1 A the whole semester

He's a great professor. Be on time and dont be absent very often, he takes it seriously. He will give HW most nights but they are not hard, and are actually interesting. I learned more in this class than any other at NCC. He is always open to your opinion and will never shut you down. Take him you wont regret it!

I'm currently attending one of Professor Rosner's english classes. I have nothing but great things to say... He's captivating, and intriguing. He's really helpful. He's got this nerd like charm about him. He loves literature, and it absolutely shows. I couldn't ask for a better English professor. Rock on Mr. Rosner :)
