Had to buy two textbooks, one of which he co-wrote many years ago and never bothered to update so when you try to use it to look up statistics on the website it works with you cannot get the answers you need. This class is impossible. Messed up my great GPA with this class.

Terrible. Just absolutely terrible. I had a 4.0 until this course. Professor is unwilling to meet with students on campus for help. Very unclear. Makes you purchase outdated book he wrote, so also likes to make money off his students. STAY AWAY.

i wish i read these reviews prior. this man is impossible. the tests are all from a book and online sites with statistics and coding. you have to figure the codes, then find the answers from charts. they are HARD. i had a perfect GPA prior to this class and lost it. prof. refuses to meet with you to discuss anything. very unclear with work. awful

I took his online class. I do not recommend anyone to take his class. He uses two textbooks, in which one of the textbooks he co-wrote. His textbook is outdated and is a lot of work which consists of looking up charts... more like statistics. He does not give back tests, so you do not know what you got wrong on the tests.

I took his course online,it was a huge burden.The textbook is straightforward but his own handbook is extremely outdated and confusing.The website work is stressful.Do not take this professor.He's not helpful.This class is more like statistics than sociology.You can sign up for a better professor, easier course work w/same material, and learn more.

Ive taken a hand full of online classes. It seemed normal at first but the work required from the other text book was difficult. It was all about computing data and answering questions based on the charts. The questions were not direct. The exams in the other book were straight forward and I didnt need to spand 15 mins on one questions.

Very helpful. He gives you everything the first day of class. Notes are extremely detailed. If you study your notes, you will def pass the tests.The quizzes are a little difficult, but if you have questions, he will help you.

Gives quizes of 2 long chapters every 2 weeks. My class was MW, and all my quizzes and the other 2 classes he has took quizzes on MONDAY! the worst day to give tests to students. 3 home online test. thats the class, attending he doesnt count, kinda boring, just read and you will pass
