Comment:

Overall, Wilson is a decent professor. Some days he really kept my attention, but others I was nearly falling asleep. Having a background in philosophy or science is invaluable in his class because he goes through many complicated ideas, sometimes rather quickly. If you don't like philosophy, don't take this class.

Comment:

David Wilson really knows his stuff. He does get a bit tiresome but most of the time he's fine. The only thing you have to watch out for is the TA, Gary Cameron. He's not very intelligent and thinks that if he gives everyones low grades it will make him look smarter. He'll point out obscure facts missing in your essay and dock you tons of points.

I had him for Intro to History of Science parts I & II. He loves the subject and it shows in his lectures. Read the books he gives you, but more importantly, go to lecture. His tests are completely essay so there's not too much memorization, which I like.
