Dr. Mustacchio is one of those professors who has made a lasting impression. In my first political science class with Dr. Mustacchio he introduced Plato's Republic. It challenged me to think about politics in a completely different way. It was because of Dr. Mustacchio that I majored in political science and enjoy political philosophy.

All I have to say is that this is the most amazing teacher. He chalenges you and makes you think about all different posibilities in life. I was not very into philosophy before, but because of him, I have developed love for it. What I learned, I was able to apply into other subjects. Very respectful, clear, enjoyable teacher. Highly recomend him

A fantastic teacher. After taking his class I am actually considering minoring in philosophy. He is very knowledgeable and does not require homeworks or too much class participation. You must read the books in order to get a good grade on the two take home exams.

Ok, so I didn't have Mr. Mustacchio as a college prof. He was my 7th grade English teacher! He loves what does and develops a students passion for the subject! I'm now in college, but I'll ALWAYS remember Dr. Mustacchio. (His love for The Ramones is awesome, too!)

not as good as most of the people imply, decent yes great not really. Easy reading, gave us like 5 small books to read i think i read maybe 3 of them. watch out though he is atheous, so if you have a narrow mind, he will catch you off guard

took Persons and Problems with him. hard to get an A because he wants real answers so no bs on the exams. had 2 books mandatory and he takes attendance. he won't fail students and gives you a chance to redo the exams if it was an F. class was fun and he speaks the truth about American politics. I learned a lot.

Prof Mustacchio. Greatest prof there is. I've always avoided to take a phil. class. However, after taking him i'm interested in more phil classes. To get an A you must go to class take good notes and have some insight of the readings assigned. He will not fail you. as long as you do the midterm and final papers. His lectures are crystal clear.

This professor is cool. He is very eloquent in classroom lectures, professional and will work with you if you have a dilemma. Do take his class. I remember one thing he had told my class a few semesters back, "Be the first kid on your block to read Huckleberry Finn." I went out a few weeks later and purchased it. You are a great professor!

He is by far the BEST professor on NJCU. Not just b-cause he gives take home exams, but because philosphy is not an easy subject and Mustacchio makes it not only interesting, but he makes you want to participate in the class. From 1 to 10 he gets a 100.

I had him for Phil: Persons & Problems. He was great. He taught us in a way that really helped to understand Philosophy. No Tests! Just two paper which as long as you go to class and do the reading you can pass. Recommened to take him!
