He never really wanted to help when I asked him how to do something. I once asked him how to work a problem on a homework assignment and his reply was,"Oh I didn't teach ya'll that." So no one in the class knew how to do it. He tries to be funny and is a sweet guy or well can be, but when he is in a bad mood, stay out of his way.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. The Hawkes System(online) math is hard enough and even harder with Mr. Harberson. He has very dry humor. Also, doesn't explain everything you need to know and leaves how to work some problems out. There is a lot of teaching yourself in this class.

He uses a program by Hawkes for all homework/tests. The annoying this about Hawkes is that you have to redo the homework if you miss more than about 3 questions. The good thing is that it assures you'll get a 100 on every assignment. If you just practice the Checkpoints over and over before a test, you can earn a really, REALLY easy A like I did.

He Is very strict with the rules! He is a great math teacher! He will explain the same thing over and over if he has to. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Listen closely to him because every now and then he makes a corny joke. VerY strict but very good

He does try to be funny. And he will help you but he is a old school cut thought teacher meaning if you respect him and pay attention you will go far but if you are rude, never show up, or text in class, crap like that. You will suffer. Fine teacher but hard

I really enjoyed him. He made math understandable to me which is almost impossible! Very nice man, sense of humor is a little "off" but very nice and easy to understand.

Look, he's a fine teacher. The subject matter is difficult. If you (like me) had to take 093 or 110, then of course you're going to struggle. It's not the man, it's the material. Overlook his dry wit and sarcasm; it's a personality trait that many of us have. That doesn't make it bad. I took him again after having him for 093.
