Comment:

As a teacher, he is amiable, & entertaining. He never tests on anything other than verbal lectures for which he writes the outline on the board. He gives nightly homework to the tune of three handwritten pages a night. Listen and regurgitate. All his classes are the same topic regardless of name. Nice guy, but too ultra liberal. Often unfactual.

I had Wainstock at for history at Fairmont. I went in that class with extremely low hopes because it was a 3 hour night class. Thankfully I was wrong. This guy is awesome. Excellent professor, keeps your attention, exciting, hilarious, cracks jokes the whole time. Tests were clear cut and easy if u went to class. Wainstock is the man!

Dennis Wainstock was by far the coolest teacher ever!!!!! If you dont enjoy attending class dont waste your time enrolling. All tests are on class lecture.I dont consider myself a huge studier, but he mkes class fun and interesting.

He was a Hunter. Looking for intl girls. All he does is give lecture in **** topics. I took 2 classes with him. American foreign Policy, World Civilisation and he covered the same material,nth new. So If u want to A take notes, get B in first class, then go on to next semester ...will definitely get an A.

Had him for history at WVU. His voice can't be real and sounds like he is out of 1930's radio. Almost everything he says is wrong. When presented with the right facts he just nods and says oh. It isn't a hard class though. Just take notes on the wrong things he tells you and it is an easy B.

I have taken alot of his classes, and I really like the way he teaches. Only an idiot can fail his class, in my opinion. As long as you are there and TAKE NOTES you should be fine. Also, despite what was said, he DOES NOT push his political views on people, in fact he actually listens to other views that differ from his own.

Best teacher I ever had. I had him for a History class at WVU a couple of years ago. He is very easy to follow and his exams are not very difficult. Highly recommended!!!!
