I was terrified to take Microbiology for the longest time. When I walked into class the first day I realized I made a huge mistake because Berry makes it WONDERFUL. If you fail its YOUR OWN FAULT. Fill in packets she hands out, practicals and tests straightforward. Enjoy the ride, shes awesome- buy her French vanilla Caps from Tims!

If you fail this class it's because you didn't study. She gives out packets, and goes over everything that will be on the test. She does get mad easy at times, but otherwise, she is great. She does care about the students. She allows retakes of exams.

Berry is different from any professor ive had before... Her tests are straight forward and shes generous with review and occasionally an open book test. But, there are few grades so one bad grade can really hurt.

Berry is a fantastic teacher, you can tell she is passionate about what she does. She gives homework, but doesn't grade it, so if you fail any of her tests than good luck keep your grade up. While she is a good teacher, she tends to hate when students ask questions. And beware if you do something wrong, she switches from happy to mad real quick.

I would recommend Berry to anyone who doubts themselves in chemistry, she teaches in a way where everyone understands or elaborate more on a topic until everyone understands. She gives great pointers on how to remember things. Anything she writes on the board is recommended notes, she does not use a book which is great for any college student who doesn't want to have any unnecessary payments! Great teacher, if you fail her classes it's because you were just not doing your part as a student.

Professor Berry takes microbiology to a whole new level ! Her teaching style is exciting and informative. No way you can fall asleep in this class. Professor Berry will make sure you understand all material. Many opportunities to obtain a good grade. Loved this class , Loved this very different teacher !!

She's crazy...a fabulous crazy! Listen to what she says. She gives u ways to remember things and you will remember it. Her tests, you must study your notes or you'll never pass! She's intelligent and very good. Had her for lab too, overall awesome

This is my first time in any microbiology class and i can say that whatever she teaches, i learn. she allows make up for the exams, very helpful on what will be on the exams. a little crazy and goes off on tangents of stories but you do learn alot from her. no book to be purchased either

Prof. Berry definitely made the class understandable, and enjoyable. She does, however, freak out at cell phones,food wrappers and dumb questions so beware! And don't try to BS her, she won't buy it. I will definitely try to get in any of her classes that I can. I learned so much from her!

Prof. Berry is a great instructor. Her stories aid in understanding and remembering the material. It is obvious that she loves what she does for a living. Another bonus: you don't have to buy a book for this course, she provides all the notes needed. How cool is it not having to spend over a $100 on another book?? I highly recommend her class.
