Show up to class everyday because it's worth 100 pts! Quiz almost everyday so read! Does give out a lot EC. Highly recommend you do them. Do all the work because you'll need all the points possible! Her tests are HARD! She does drop one of your lowest test grade and 2 of your lowest quizzes.

Comment:

Professor Campbell is definitely a tough grader and has very strict guidelines of how she wants her students to do assignments. However, she does offer many extra credit opportunities and will drop one or two worst test scores. I highly advise you to do as much extra credit as you possibly can. Put effort into your work, ask questions.

Comment:

Easy A. Simple as that. Do the easy assignments, show up, study a bit, pass. Simple class, clear cut assignments, and she gives out tons of points just for small things like attendance and participation. I didn't even do very well on the exams or quizzes and I have an A in her class. Nice, kind, and helpful professor that wants everyone to succeed.

Prof. Campbell is not that bad but I cannot stand her teaching style. She is a harsh grader; doesn't give good feedback for grade. Be prepared to teach yourself everything from the books; you won't discuss anything until after the quiz. Her lectures are very simple and not enough to cover the material she requires for the class + for testsquizes.

The professor is very organized and uses videos and printouts to help students be involved in class lectures. I really enjoyed Seneca Falls play! Overall, would recommend, and take her again!

unrealistic grader, very unhelpful. ask a question and you run the risk of getting belittled or barked at. usually late to class. although due to her dropping quizes and one test at the end of the semester my grad is not bad. her teaching style drove me crazy, i think its about tme to retire.

Mrs. Campbell is definitely passion about women history but the quizzes and tests are not easy. The textbooks are very wordy and contains A LOT of information. You have to memorize every little details if you want to pass this class. You should ask Mrs. Campbell for help if you want to successful in this class. She's willing to help you in any way

I knew more about her personal life than I did about the class itself. Quizzes every class session on chapters not even discussed until the day of the quiz after taken. BOOK IS A MUST! you read anywhere from 35-70 pages prior to the next class. I will not take her again. College is work, but this was ridiculous. I had to withdrawal.

She talks about herself all the time, I got bored of it that I began to mark how many times she got off topic to talk about herself. She doesn't stay on topic with what history she's teaching and usually it's reading 60 pages for homework each night. I wouldn't take her again, glad I barely passed.

I would not advise anyone to take this class. She is late every day. doesnt follow the syllabus and grades very unfairly. her exams are easy on multiple choice but impossible on the essay portions. (unless she really likes you in which case she "grades on an individual basis") I argued my grade on the essay portion and she refuses to reconsider. :(

She is one the best teacher . I read negative comments about her in Rate my professor. Those who made negative comments are very biased, prejudiced,and don't know what they are talking about. She is probably the best History teacher in ARC. She explains better. I love to listen her lecture. Overall easy class.

Helpful teacher. Didn't really use the textbooks, just for a few quizzes. Mostly videos in class. Just attend class, do the work, and you'll pass the finals. Very strict on essay assignments! She will dock you points if you don't start with an intro and end with a concluding paragraph.

I found this class to be very educational. I like the way she included her own experiences. I thought she was very down to earth and you keep communication with her she is very helpful. Her goal is for you to succeed. I loved her.

Horrible experience! Teacher focused more on herself than history. Hard exam grader and doesn't answer emails on the weekends because she "doesn't get paid to work on weekends". Some people shouldn't go into teaching... she's one of them!

She very interesting and intriguing in her lectures. She's a stickler on the essay tests, but if you go to her for help she's more than willing to assist. A lot of reading, which is normal for a history class, and she quizzes after. She drops the lowest test score and offers 20 points extra credit. I really enjoyed taking this class with her.

I think this woman is very fun and funny during her class! I thought I was going to fail her class because I got a D on the first test, but her first test is usually the hardest. But don't stress too much if that happens because I still did well on other test and got an A. She is very easy to pass as long as you read the text.

I didnt really like her that much. She's a nice person but very stubborn, even when someone proves her wrong. It has been the most difficult class I have taken so far... not because of the material, but because she makes it more difficult than what it really is. I got a good grade though...
