I took his class online as a summer semester. The 1st week there were 2 excel labs due each day, I didn't understand one lab and all he says is look at my vid : Not helpful, just long and boring. I failed 2 labs. Theres 5 exams given and a paper. I passed everything. Don't take this class if u cant keep up with due dates. I still passed wit an A.

Comment:

Professor is very unclear about assignments. I took this class online and describe myself as very computer savvy. However, this class was by far the hardest I've ever taken. The assignment outlines are unclear, the feedback he gives is unclear and he is very unwilling to give a clear answer when you ask for help. Would not recommend taking.

While not a bad teacher Mr. Johnson is incredibly boring. He sits in class and plays crappy powerpoints with a recording of his own voice reading the words on screen, the recording has lots of pauses to catch his breath and make wet mouth sounds. sounds like he is eating peanut butter. Somebody should tell him.

Took the class this semester. Easy class. Much of the materials are onlne for review. Tests come from the study guides. Access is the only lab assignments. Everything covered in class and in videos. GREAT PROFESSOR!

I withdrew from his class at midterm. His assignments are very tedious. The final straw with him was when he gave the class a test on creating queries, and this was a topic that was not taught. When I emailed him to inquire about the matter, he brushed me off and told me to go back and watch a video. He is very condescending in emails. AVOID PLEASE

If you have a business major, and you do not take this teacher's class; you are a fool! He makes the class go easy. If you got to work, and you can make it to class; all the material are on webct. Do all the labs, and ask questions if do not understand. He will help you. It is an easy A, especially if you took some excel or access class in HS

Awesome teacher, understands you have a life outside of school. Does not grade comprehensively over the whole semester. Helps with labs, has all the assignment and lectures online in case you can not make it to class. Only gives 2 tests final and midterm, do you labs study for those tests and you are gold.

He is a boring teacher so its impossible to pay attention. He is helpful but this NOT an easy A class. The labs are easy but do not help that much. You have to study hard for the midterm and final. To say all that its a boring class but you do have computers in front of you and he does not count attendance.

OK teacher. Not the most exciting guy but what can you do with a subject like that. The class is pretty much simple. Just make sure you do your labs at home because you will need to pay attention to his lectures in class. It will come back to haunt you on the final.

He is very helpful. Turn in all yout labs early because you get 10% extra credit, which comes in handy because you may not be able to finish the excel and access finals in one class period! I suggest you print out the info system midterm and final study guides and pay attention in class so when he starts lecturing on something, pay attention.
