Paul Pedota is no longer a professor at St John's. He's now Director of Field Experience. Search Pedota + New York Times + Lawsuit- learn about his "law-and-order" approach to education. He's failed the individuals he was hired to serve & represents exactly what's wrong with education. Shame on St John's for employing this man. Beware & steer clear

This prof sucks, he doesn't help in any way, and is not clear with what he wants. His way of grading is to give good grades based on who his favorite students are, and can't back up why he gave you a lower score than the other students who clearly are a bunch of airheads! Definitely not a fair grader, and has a bad attitude all the time.

This prof gives a decent amt of work but when he grades you doesn't say why he gave you a particular grade. He doesn't go off of the book, and speaks for the whole period. He's disrespectful and doesnt care about his students opinions. He has his favorites and shows it, and finally when you do the presentation he gives you the grade your peers give u

He gives a ton of work! However, his grading tends to be less harsh as the semester goes on. However it can be quite frusterating listening to him speak about the best way to teach and then you're stuck listening to him lecture. Be prepared.

Goodness...he gives an incredible amount of work, especially considering that most of his students are full time teachers. I spent entire weekends doing work for this professor's class. Very unclear when it comes to expectations. He'll let you know what he wants after you've handed in an assignment. Not a bad man, just unrealistic in his demands.

Tough guy! Looks REAL scary! But such a great man. For future fellows.....if you do what he says when he says you will be alright! Make him your friend!!! I don't think I'd want him as an enemy :-)

He is in charge of the New York City Teaching Fellowship over at St. John's University and everytime he speaks to us, he seems to bring us more and more bad news. Although he seems intimidating, he is a very approachable man with lots of experience in teaching and administration. Never took a class with him...can't help you there.
