Why did PCC let him go?! The world needs more music instructors like him. He cares about the craft and knows a lot about whatever style of music; vocal&instrumental. We were lucky to have him teaching for so long here, he'll be missed!! Def a gem and hell yeah I took every class he offered!! Love his lectures, his attitude for music, and pedagogy.

Listen to everything this man says. Hes amazing at what he does and teaches because he was born to do so. Expect to learn so much in his class ,goodness knows I have!! I will take what I've experienced from his class ,into everything I do with music and in life. Take a class with him! Were so lucky to have him at PCC.

He is the best!!! Had him for Madrigals, Chambers and Music 9. I felt like I belonged treats everyone the same with respect. You can hear him talk about music for hours and remain entertained till the cows come home. Even if you aren't a music major take him!!

I've noticed something with Don. People with talent and potential like him and respect him. Arrogant, untalented people who think they know everything are intimidated by him and like to put him down. He is life-changing and brilliant. An absolute must for anyone who loves music. Funny, TALENTED, charismatic, informative, and passionate. Go Don!

The best professor of my academic career. Has an equal love for the intellectual and emotional aspects of music. Will go way out of his way to make sure one student understands in their own way of learning. You can pass with minimal effort, or really dive in and get your mind blown and learn a lot.He has an inspiring, contagious love for music.

This guy is one of the biggest headed people I've met. Sure he's intellectual. But half the time he's talking, the whole choir will be sitting there just wondering what the hell he's talking about. He's a waste of time, don't bother. If he offers you to be in his Donald Brinegar's singers, well, that's entirely up to you.

Don is one of the best teachers I have ever known! He has such a passion a deeper knowledge of music that I've neveer seen in anyone else. He will not only help you to be a better musician, but he will teach you how to love and appreciate music more than you ever knew you could. he has so much to teach all of us! I owe him so much! Don Brinegar is the most life changing professor I have ever had. I have participated in several of his programs and am constantly being "enlightened". The most valuable thing about this teacher is his dedication to the music. In fact, he calls music "the greatest teacher I've ever known". Thanks be to god for teachers who "get it"!!!

Makes you feel like an idiot. Not helpfull. tells Crude jokes. thinks he is the center of the world. He has a good reputation in the music industry, but it's unfortunate if you are a voice major because he is such a huge part of the music department.

Mr. Brinegar is a great teacher. He gives students great insight into what were learning in class. Follow his good instructions, listen to his leatures and take notes in his class and you will do good. He is always there to help you. Be on time for his class is a must...
