This class is awesome. Took it for an easy B credit, and passed with an "A." This professor is absolutely adorable and class was a blast. This is coming from an English major. Buy the Einstein notes, take the practice exams, and make flashcards. It's a memorization game, but definately not hard if you put the effort!

Super sweet! Brings bugs to class that he picks up on way. Exams are directly from practice questions on CD (way overpriced) but you need it! Easy A, take this class!!

Never went to class. 3 exams- 1 online & 2 in class. For in class, just memorize the cd questions! Exam questions are verbatim, which is amazing. Its lame bc you have to pay for Faulkner Media but think of it as a $50investment for an A. Definitely take him if you want an EASYY A!

The easiest class you can EVER take at UF!! Never went to class, as long you buy the cd and review the topic quizzes, they are literally word for word the same as the test questions. This class is basically ALL MEMORIZATION!! If you study legit, you will destroy this class. Out of 300pts i got 300pts. Easiest A+ i could ever got. A great class/prof

Prof. Hall is like a cute grandpa, I loved all of his stories and personal tidbits. He really knows and loves entomology, and it shows in his teaching. However, there are many class cancellations and a mandatory non-refundable cd course pack, which is helpful, but I do not prefer it and find it hard to navigate. Other than that D. Hall for the win!

Professor Hall makes eny2040 about as easy as a class can be. Attendance is not mandatory and there are only 3 grades: 2 tests(one of which is online) and a final. The questions on the tests are identical to those found on the course software, so basically all you need to do is be able to recognize the questions and their corresponding answers EASY

I LOVE PROFESSOR HALL! All of his stories about his nature walks and bugs that he finds on them with his wife are so cute! He even brought in a few cool creatures and sparked my interest. Attendance is not mandatory and everything is on his CD but its worth going to class just for the experience.Everything from his jokes to info to bugs are awesome

Dr. Hall was the best way to start my college years off. He was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. And it didn't hurt that we pretty much had all the test questions and answers handed to us. Plus he's just a really nice guy! I push for everyone to take a class with him.

This guy is great; he teaches in such a way that the subject matter is both interesting and easy to learn. He is very enthusiastic and excited about insects, and even sometimes catches some (from outside) to bring into class to show as examples, or brings special insects from the entemology department. Very funny and helpful, highly recommended.

I loved this class. This teacher is so enthusiastic and has so many great anecdotes to share. Yes, it is basically an easy class, but I still only got a B+ (I'm usually an A student). He only gives three grades, and they are progressively weighted heavier, which didn't work out for me. Anyway, very interesting class!

Yes, is an easy course; many students get by without coming to class, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of his lectures. He has a passion for the subject, which can be seen in his enthusiasm and willingness to share his knowledge. The examples he provided made otherwise difficult things easier to remember. Make sure you take lots of practice quizzes!!

Insanely easy. Just remember the answers before the test basically, and you will be straight. You do not have to go to class except for the tests basically. If you are looking for a GPA booster that does not involve too much work, take this class.
