Mr. Morrison provides you with a lot of practice problems for the exam. If you do them then you will get an A. If you dont, then you wont get the grade that you want.

Class is based on lectures, but Morrison's were straight to the point and easy to understand. Flipped classroom wasn't helpful during class BUT the questions were great practice for the exam. Lots of material to prep for the exam, exam was similar to practice material.

Dr. Morrison was an alright professor. He taught the first part of the course but the first part of the course is all about solving problems. You don't actually have to learn/memorize a lot, you just have to know how to solve different problem types, which are given to you in the homework. His lectures were simple, kinda slow, with easy iclickers.

Hard professor, but not impossible. There are a lot of point opportunities & every point counts. Go over every hw problem & problem set. Time yourself!!! That is the major problem for his exams. Key to doing well is keep doing problems! Go to TA office hours!

As for Morrison, his lectures are worse than Stone. If possible, take McCutchenson. His lectures are the most basic things, but he still talks a lot. The only good part about Morrison was that his topics were not so hard to understand and I believe that's what gave me a passing grade for the final. The class wasn't curved for me, so actually try

Morrison did the problem-solving half of the class. He is a good professor. The flipped classroom was dumb but the questions made great study problems. I thoroughly enjoyed his half of the class. His exams are kind of hard. Finishing the exams in time is near impossible.

He is very monotone and difficult to hear. Tried to do a flipped discussion, but it was not helpful, very distracting & a waste of time. Average for the first 2 exams were around 50%, and none of the 3 profs in the class cared. Exams much harder with material that isnt covered in quizzes/PS/hw. Whats the point of a PS if it doesnt help you study?

This class is absolutely horrendous, the average for the first exam was a 57% and he didn't really seem to care much. Absolutely horrible professor who is monotone and just reads off his lecture slides. This class is extremely difficult as it is and the exam is full of curveball questions.

the key to success is GO TO TA OFFICE HOURS!!!!! they tell you everything on the quizzes, help you with the problem set, and help you with homework. the professor is not good at explaining and lectures are pointless, you go for the points and the answers are in the slides. understand the problem set and you will get an A/B.

Homework, problem sets and quizzes prepare you well for the exam. Just practice problems and you'll do fine on the exam. Does iclickers so make sure you attend class and bring your iclicker. Always helpful during office hours and very approachable. A lot of work but you know your stuff. Not the most fun lectures but he explains things well.

Comment:
Nice guy but lectures are pretty boring. Powerpoints that he uses for lecture are not that detailed so it's tough to just flip through them and know what's going on. Plus, he doesn't lecture capture so you have to pretty much pay as good attention as you can in class. BUT, his section is all just math stuff and it's pretty easy to teach yourself

Dr. Morrison is an ok professor. The problem sets help you with the kinds of questions you could see on the exam, having problems sets from previous years are very helpful. Quizzes are not that hard, if you read the book. You mostly have to teach yourself for his part and ask questions to the TA. All you can do is try your very best and work hard.

Morrison taught basic concepts in class. However, his exam was difficult because it contained concepts we didn't cover in class. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone.

Very friendly and accessible. He makes his expectations clear and explains things pretty well. Attending lecture is mandatory for clicker points but at the beginning of the class you can keep up using online lecture notes and the book, as long as you know how to do the problems!

taught the first half of the class. first half is just math and so was very easy. but make sure u do the hw (textbook) problems as well as the problem set. if you can do the problem set then u'll ace the first exam. there wasnt a lot of curve and make sure u read teh text for the second half of hte class.
