Comment:

Experienced in the real world. Gives you papers that you write that class session. This is like real life where your supervisor will tell you to write up something and gives you only a couple of hours to do it. Excellent experience. You'll write a lot. She is an excellent proofreader, doesn't miss anything in terms of grammar especially.

Great professor! her class is extremely organized which makes it easy to follow. there are writing assignments due at the end of every class and a semester project. the assignments are not difficult because she lets you know exactly what she wants. she's very accessible in case you need help. take her!

Comment:

She is the sweetest and is willing to help. Lots of work at the end of class, but it is easy. Once done with work, you can leave class early. No tests. One group project that is easy. 25% of your grade is the major report and that wasn't very hard, just time consuming. Very easy class. She is the best!

Allot of class work, papers, and project work. Make sure to get a group for the project, you don't want to do all that alone! She can lose your work so back it up on your computer. Nice lady, cares about her students. The work itself is easy there's just allot of it. Don't miss class, each class there's something to turn in or do. No tests.

The assignments are easy, but she grades way to hard. You don't have time to go to the writing center to fix any mistakes because all but 2 of the assignments are due the very same night of class. grading scale for students was not the same across the board.

I really enjoyed this class. First half is spent in a lecture (which are interesting for the most part) and the second half is completing an assignment. You are allowed to leave when the assignment is completed. The key to getting an A is showing up! Assignment due every class and projects due throughout. A lot of work but not difficult. Easy A.

She grades hard. She counts every single comma or period.I work so hard to complete my work on time and creatively but my grade is still bad because she deducts those small mistakes.I try not to be creative in order to save my grade. She is nice and helpful though.

Awesome teacher! assignments are not hard, just time consuming. Very nice lady, will help you if you ask for it, easy grader, very reasonable professor, will work with you if any issues arise. All bad ratings are from people who didnt try and should be ignored!

Do not take more than six units when taking this course because there is an enormous amount of assignments to complete. The instructor grades fair and is very helpful. The information learned is very useful for future college courses and your career.

Comment:

Most papers/assignments are done during class time, which is great. No quizzes or tests. However, there is a major report that requires a lot of work. Make sure you have a group. Also, you have to do a Power Point Pres. over your report. She grades easy to fair. Be prepared to stay for the entire class & then some on a couple of occasions.

As with all writing classes you must PROOF and PROOF and PROOF. She will count off for small mistakes. She's a good teacher. A couple of group assignments. Left earlier about 25% of the time. All assignments improved my ability to communicate in writing and I HATE writing.

Really watch your reports for errors, she looks for details. Would not take her again. There is an assignment due every class. Very hard on working poeple, will have to stay late every night. She will give out zeros.

Class protrayed itself easy b/c teacher vaguely explains the work and expects students to be picky on the major report. Lectures are very broad does not really emphasize what is expected, she seemed disorganized, overall class was pretty easy but expect to stay late for in class assignments, and make sure you proof the major report a bunch.

She does give a lot of in class assigments which are hard on evening students because the time required takes longer than the class period. But she does grade fairly and is very good at what she does. Easy A if you do your work-her way.
