Mr. Long was amazing. I had him for Western Civ and Geography. He does not allow nonsense in his classes, which I love, but at the same time he is funny. He's very kind and understanding if you give him a reason to be. He doesn't play around with attendance either, which I suck at. I would take any class Mr. Long teaches, he is that amazing.

Helpful and open for questions. Almost everything on his tests he covers in the outlines he puts up on campus cruiser. You HAVE TO read the book for this class. At the end of each test was a choice of essay questions. You have to do one. example test on ch1&2 the essay questions for the test are given to you at the beginning of ch1 with the outline

this class is an easy "A" it does require effort. I am horible at history. I but my best effort in in this class and got a B. I think mr long is a great teacher though. I have learned, and actually still remember things I never would have remembered. He makes it interesting. He makes what u learn matter intstead of just spouting useless information

Mr. Long makes you want to be a history major. He goes over every thing that's going to be on the test in class. Gives good extra credit every test and nails every chapter. I would give my highest recommendation to take him. If you get anything less then an "A" in his class you are just lazy!

Excellent teacher! Mr. Long explains all of the subject matter in great detail. To make an A in his class all you have to do is attend each class and take notes. He even offers a study guide for each exam, what more could you ask for.

Great teacher. Dry wit and lots of knowledge. Just pay attention, goes over every inch of exam in lecture, including easy extra credit questions. Odd in the best sense of the word.

I took him for every geography class available at CCCC he is quite the character and obviously a Seinfeld fan. His classes were very enjoyable, went on geography trips that were excellent and really expanded my understanding of the course.

this guy drove me crazy..hes so odd, but not in a good way. his comb over drove me nuts...he thinks he knows everything and if you mention something hes never heard-he tries to belittle you..very narrow minded and quirky
