Comment:

Ecology wasn't bad, but lectures are literally just powerpoints being read on screen. There are barely any assignments to add into your grade and mastering ecology is averaged as only ONE GRADE!!! Not one each! This makes it harder to get the grade you want if you slip up on one exam. Scoring lower on one exam than usual hurts a lot.

Go over his study guides and learn the answers, youll already have a 85 for that test. Pay attention to class, he will explain the biological process in ways to remember easily. Go over the powerpoints and do the homework on the bio app and youll have an A

Comment:

Professor Kodani is great. His class is very easy and hes one of the best professors Ive ever taken. I probably couldve made a better grade had I put in more effort. You get what you put into it. Whenever I went to his class, everyone always had a good laugh. His stretches are fun too. I would take him again if I had to.

Comment:

Dr Kodani is one of the most respected professors at CSU and for good reason. He makes classes fun, he tries to help you remember material through use of analogies, anagrams, etc. But what makes Dr. Kodani cool is his personality and wanting the students to have the education that they pay for. Just remember to study HARD for the tests.

He is a great teacher, I took him in biology lab and the regular class. Make sure you study for the tests. He is very nice as well. I enjoyed the stretches also. I would take him again if I had to.

Comment:

Dr. Kodani is one of the best professors I had since I been here at Clayton state. He is firm but understanding. Test are easy , as long as you study the homework from launchpad and the power points. The lectures can be boring at times but he has the class stretch for five minutes to regain our attention. Gives extra credit . Easy A!

Professor Kodani is a nice and funny teacher. I love the stretches that he makes us do because it helps you stay awake. His tests may be difficult, but his final is really easy. He is caring at the end of the semester when he told us about the tutor blitz. He said if we just signed our names and leave, he would still give us extra points.

Took Professor Kodani's class for Bio I & II and enjoyed his energy. He makes most topics interesting and gives a break of stretching during class. His test aren't hard, only need to study homework and powerpoints. I recommend his class to anyone looking for a easy semester of bio.

I hate science and was terrified to take biology. He made it a lot better for me. He's a great instructor. He's always in a good mood and always willing to assist students having a hard time. Make sure you read and remember his tests from the previous semester. They are almost identical to the ones he used in the current semester.

Comment:

Biol1111 was my first online class. Online classes were not much different from face-to-face class meetings. Participation is crucial in this course as you will be participating in class discussion posts. Warning: the tests are very difficult. I believed that I should have studied harder to score higher, but the assignments didn't help much either.

Weekly assignments in Launchpad. Notes are available on D2L. Stretching exercises in class. You do need to study, not the day or night before though. If I knew better, I would have received an "A", instead of a "C". Gives extra credit towards end of semester.

If you fail his class, then you deserve it because you didn't read or show up for class. Superior teaching compared to other professors at CSU. He truly cares about his students and gives very easy tests. Read and go over his PowerPoints, that's it-simple. You have to try hard NOT to pass his class. Easy A if you put in the effort.

I loved him! Such a nice guy and keeps his classes interesting. You do have to study for his tests but if you use the online sources at all, you will pass the tests. The homework is fluffy and helps you learn. I love that he does Yoga mid-class too. It's always fun and wakes you up. Would take him again :)

In class, he lectures off powerpoints and luckily he has them online, so don't have to necessarily take notes. He gives launchpad and tests. No quizzes!!! He very funny and tries to keep the class alive by doing stretches every class.

Dr. Kodani is by far one of the best professors I've had in my college career. He teaches the material well, and goes above and beyond the call of duty for his students. Course was tough, but what bio course isn't? He really broke it down for us to understand and even used ways to help us remember the material. The stretches were awesome too!

He's a funny teacher and keeps you laughing even when dealing with boring topics. There is a 5 question quiz before every class, which counts for your half of your grade for each class. Don't be late! there are no make-ups.
