She gives a quiz every single class period thats usually abt the lesson done in the last class. Beware, she does not upload any of her grades online and it takes about three weeks to get any tests or quizzes back to u. She is a kind person, but a tough teachershe consistently encoporates material on tests that are stretch problems you dont know

Great professor! She is the best professor I have had at Clayton State. She works with you in class and outside of class to make sure you understand all concepts. Visit her office hours it will help you a lot.

Dr. Matos clearly cares about her students. She is free to answer questions during and after class. There is a lot of homework, but she will often extend deadlines if asked. She is very detailed and makes sure that you have everything you need to succeed. Don't skip class, though, because if you have good attendance she drops a low grade.

This was by far the hardest class I have taken thus far. Textbook is not used heavily so you can get away with not buying it. Homework sets are challenging, but are doable if you ask for help and go to the CAS. There's no study guides for the exams so you have to study. The tests are insanely hard and she does a take home part as well.

Dr. Matos works hard to make sure all of her students have help. If you don't try though, you won't pass. If you're having a hard time with the homework, you can email her, and she usually gets back to you in the next few day. She does have "daily quizzes," which are usually just a question that's based on what you learned in the last class.

she answered all questions as thoroughly as she could, and went through enough examples of concepts to get the point across. there is a ton of online homework involved, but it really does help your understanding. She always went over homework that was confusing. She did a screen and voice recording of every class in case of absenses.

Statistics is a hard class. I wouldn't take her Hybrid class because she tends to get off topic sometimes. I went to her office hours for help because I just couldn't grasp her class. She was very helpful. She's a nice professor but you may have to visit her office hours if you don't understand the material.

Statistics was not as easy as I expected it to be. Although some materials can be challenging, Dr. Matos has a VERY generous grading system. This class should be an easy A if you put in some effort.

Statistics is not particularly an easy class. You may struggle if you take the hybrid class for it. Videos are not enough to learn and you need physical help to understand statistics. Dr. Matos is a very nice and will be willing to work with you. If you are not too good with math, do not take a math course online EVER. Take the physical class.

Fantastic teacher willing to do anything to help. Statistics is HARD, lots of homework, lots of daily work, lots of quizzes. This class takes up a ton of time, so prepare for that. Teacher is fantastic though, she will help you with anything!

I love Professor Matos, she is the best. She will do everything to help you however, you have to do your part. Very nice, very professional. You must study at least 2- 3 hours in order to make a decent grade. Attendance is a must or you will miss important information. Please be sure to study, study, study because statistics is not an easy class.

Professor Matos is very helpful, wants you to learn as well as pass her class. She is great at explaining the material when you don't understand. You will use MyMathLab quite often. Her powerpoints explain everything, so I didnt really use the book. As long as you do your work, you shouldn't have a hard time passing her class.

Very easy going professor and helps you understand. She may take a long time to put your grades in, but you can rest assured, if you do your work you will pass her class. Very lenient with her grades and offers lots of extra credit for you to make it, but you gotta do your work! Wish there was another class I could take with her.

Dr. Matos is great. She gives you every opportunity to do well in class and extra credit. Lectures are posted online for review. The Hybrid class is really involved; if you are not willing to do the work, you will do poorly in class. There are pre-tests, homework, discussions, and quizzesâ?¦ those go on every week. You have to stay on top of it.

She is nice lady. Gives extra credit and grades lightly. However, she gives way too much work in the hybrid course. It is hard to keep up because she all over the place. You will have pretest, homework, discussion questions, and quizzes due all in the same week, but when you go to lecture she is a chapter or two behind what is due for the week.

The lady is like a racehorse, and lecturing to her is like a race track, especially toward the last few weeks of semester when materials get tough, time is on the essence, and class morale is low. Takes a long time for her to grade tests n quizes. However, she has an extremely merciful grading system. Very easy to score A's on her tests if you try.

Well, she's smart. Since it's a hybrid class you learn on your own. We really don't cover much in class. She rarely writes on the board and relies on her PowerPoint's to cover each chapter. That's pretty much it.

She is a great teacher, but do not take her hybrid class. She gives alot of work for each chapter every week, and you are learning on your own for alot of things. The hybrid class is for students that already have taken some sort of stats before.
