Final project was extremely unclear and exams did not reflect in class material whatsoever. She actually snorted at a student while they were asking a question. She left partway through the final exams and TAs were unable to answer my questions as they had not seen exam beforehand.

Exam's are ridiculously difficult. The assignments do not reflect the exams. I am left in awe from the final. How can she expect everyone to finish such a long and complex program in the short amount of time we are given. Unbelievable. You are way better of learning the course by yourself. 55% class avg during midterms, finals are similar.

Bad prof. The material she teaches barely scratches the surface of what we need to know. I had to learn most of the course by myself. Exams are brutal. Midterm was a complete trainwreck - 55% average midterm. Final was hard too.

Course project was difficult and full of mistakes which she won't correct if you acknowledge it. Shes terriblely unhelpful and rude in person. Exam was ridiculously hard and nothing like the practice. Just an awful prof in general

An complete embarrassment to the University of Waterloo. It is truly remarkable how confusing and non linear she can make simple explanations. Very unhelpful and frustrating. NEVER ENROLL IN ANY CLASS SHE TEACHES!

i taught myself this course from a website since weckman's material was useless, the textbook was useless, and the ta's speak little english. that said, after teaching myself and understanding the material, attending weckmans classes only confused what i had learned
