Orgo is NOT EASY! However, Dr. El-Naggar makes it lectures interesting. She will definitely push you to your limits in this class but when you get an A you honestly feel like you've earned it. Most inspirational professor I've ever had. She will definitely instill a decent work ethic in you if you don't have one already! Be prepared to work!

Dr el Naggar is an inspirational and knowledgeable professor. She demands a lot of work, but it is essential to learn and master the concepts in organic chemistry. Benefit from her experience. She is willing to help, but she will not spoon feed you the material! She wants you to think- wish more profs were like her!

Orgo isn't meant to be easy, she is fair & always helps when asked. Do not underestimate this class. The density of the material is overwhelming b/c orgo a different kind of science but its doable, once you register then the ball is in your court. It requires full attention and dedication. Changing your schedule before registering would be smart.

When she said that aside from the 7 hours of class you will need to devoted 20 hours of your week time to this class, she was not kidding. If you do not eat, breathe, and sleep her class you will not pass. Her accent is hard to understand and her lessons were very unorganized. I DO NOT recommend her.

She is a very knowledgeable lecturer. Probably the hardest class I have ever taken. She has very high expectations and you will need to work hard for a mediocre grade. If you are motivated to learn and work hard she is a great prof. but be warned it will be tough. She has a thick accent but after a few hours you get used to it until then, good luck

ALL EXAMS 5-6 HOURS LONG. Demands her students be familiar with EVERY detail of her lectures, as though preparing them for a career a chemistry. EXTREMELY HIGH EXPECTATIONS. Must devote minimum 20 hours a week to excel in her class. Students that survive the massacre are rewarded with immense knowledge beyond the monetary value of the course.

I loved her! Yes she does have a very heavy accent, but once you get used to it its fine. I've taken her 2 times and don't want to take anyone else. She explains things so clearly and give practical applications that really help you understand the material. I recommend 100%

Impossible to ask questions & if you do, she will make you feel stupid in front of the class nor does she answer your questions. She just keeps telling you to go to the Learning Center. Its not enough that you pay for class but you also have to work your ass off just to get answers. She is not easy.

Dr. El Naggar isn't just a bad chemestiry teacher, she just is a cold hearted person. I ask her questions and she goes off in a rant saying " This isn't elementary school." Theres a difference between a bad teacher, and just a cold hearted person.

Dr. El Naggar is a great teacher if you give her the chance. Yes the material is tough, but she really makes you remember it, which is essential if you're taking this for a nursing pre req. Attend every class and lab, do the homework and the practice exams, and you should be just fine. She is also very helpful if you go in for office hours.

While Dr. El Naggar knows her stuff and is very passionate about chemistry, I think she has a hard time coming down to our level. This is a beginner's class, and I got the impression that she expected us to already understand the things she was teaching. The workload was overwhelming. If you struggle with chemistry, I wouldn't recommend her.

An absolutely wonderful teacher who encourages students to think. I won't deny the class is brutal and she's a tough judge, but she is willing to go above and beyond to teach. If you are willing to put in the time and really want to know the information, you won't learn it better anywhere else. If you don't intend to take it seriously, beware.
