Comment:

The material and assignments themselves were not awful. She however does not know how to effectively communicate. She gives very poor feedback on your project that builds on itself. She also is crazy about grammar but much of what she writes contains grammar mistakes. There is also a TON of work in this class!

Comment:

Awesome choice for an online class. Many extra credit opportunities! A lot of reading and writing material that makes you think outside the box but the book required for this course is very helpful if you continue on in studying English.

Comment:

Talks way too fast, and takes every little thing way too seriously. This was supposed to be a business writing class, but nearly all the class time was spent on grammar. Only did 4 actually business related assignments. Very frustrating. Only good thing was that I took it in the summer so I didn't have to endure it for 8 weeks. Don't take her.

Do no take this course with her. She grades very hard and she is not helpful! I took it online to be more convenient to me, but it was 10 times worse than an inclass. Save yourself and take it with anyone else.

Very easy and understanding. Only have like 5 real papers due. Bi-Weekly quiz's online over book (open book), and online 20-25 question labs. Very easy class and extremely nice teacher.

She is a difficult grader but will let you re-write for a better grade. The class is very time consuming as well and I don't recommend her if you are just taking this class as a requirement. She is under the impression that everyone in her classes are going to be english majors.

Great teacher and a generous grader. She can be a little scatter-brained at times during lecture, but you do actually get a good brush up on sentence structure. The labs are a little tedious, but not horrible.

Very nice. Lets you rewrite almost all of your work for a better grade. Very critical on punctuation and grammar. If you are willing to work for a good grade you can get one with her.

She is not very intelligent and she would rather teach the class business law than talk about english. Her comments on your papers make you think that she let a fourth grader correct it. She also does not know how to interperate a quote in a paper inless it is a under a sentence long.

A lot of work in this class. If you've never had an English class that involves a lot of structure get ready for some low grades but she will work with you and let you rewrite labs. She also lets you rewrite all papers...but there is a lot of writing and a lot of work...don't fall behind on rewrites...

She is a great teacher. If you do your work, you'll be guaranteed an A. All you need to do is pay attention in class, the homework is based off of what she lectures. And you are able to re-do any of your assignments to get a 100%, midterm and final tests are a bit difficult so STUDY, but she gives you a lot of time in advance so you can be prepared

a basic knowledge of writing and grammar will give you an A(many dumb...butts will be in your class, if you're not dumb - you're fine), some of the bad reports on here are shocking to me, she's very lenient(maybe too lenient)

awesome teacher!! Will work with you until you get an A. She is very flexible about due dates. A little boaring to sit though class sometimes, but its worth the A. I highly recommend her!
