Class was super boring, and time in class was wasted. A lot of our assignments were unnecessary. She made you feel like you were stupid if you got an answer wrong or if she didnt like your idea. You dont really need the textbook for the class, which shell say otherwise. Hard to contact over email- takes a while to get back to you.

Professor Bell is an interesting person. She is clearly passionate about education and teaching, but sometimes it's not always obvious that this is the case. One day she'll be in a great mood and it will show throughout the lesson, but on other days it's hard to see that same side to her.

Overall class was okay. I felt some assignments were more like busy work as opposed to meaningful . The class is A LOT of tedious projects and other assignments so be ready to work ! Some assignments were a lot of work but not worth a lot of points or vise-versa. Grading at times seemed rather arbitrary and heavily opinionated rather then fact.

I felt she made this class more work than it had to be. We were hit with a portfolio assignment 2 weeks before the end of the semester that was long and tedious. Dr. Isabelle, the other course instructor, seemed lost a lot of the time because she kept changing the course and projects around.

I had her for two classes, teaching math, and teaching science, She was a delight! She made me truly understand math. I feel that I understand things better in life because of her.

Class wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't fun, either. Lots of play with manipulatives, but presented in SUCH a BORING manner! Could have been much more fun. "Quizzes" were very hard tests! She would do so much better if she learned how to be animated. Maybe if we thought she was happy about being there, we'd be happy to be there too.
