Honestly it is a pretty easy class, but there is some busy work involved with it. The exams are relatively easy, as long as you study a little bit. Not a tough class to get an A in because of her online quizzes. I'm a business major, and I didn't mind it at all.

This sprint course involves a ton of busy work and her exams are extremely difficult. Term project is a waste of time and it's excruciating having to sit through her awful lectures. The class probably wouldn't be as bad if you had a different professor. Don't take this sprint course..

She seems nice and bubbly, but is rather strict and expects way too much for a 100 level course. Her exams are impossible; in my previous geology class I got an A+. Also, 20 question hw assignments twice a week, BS. Wouldn't recommend her unless you're super into geology.

I don't know why everyone is bashing her. I took her sprint course during pledging and still managed to pull off a decent grade. If not for pledging it's literally an easy A if you do all your homework. Stupid Artards.

I took her sprint course and it was awful. Attendance isnt mandatory but she does random clicker questions for extra credit. Her powerpoints are awful and her class is way too hard for a 100 level class. I would avoid this class.

AWFUL. This class is too difficult for a 100-level course. She assumes all students have advanced knowledge in earth sciences before taking the course. I do ALL the readings, take notes, go to class, take notes, and study and am not doing well in the course, because exams are more difficult than expected.

Liz is a great prof and an extremely competent geologist. She is very fair, but expects students to work hard. her expectations are clearly defined. I couldn't ask for more from an educator.

She has the most obnoxious voice ever and lectures endlessly. Her tests are ridiculous for a 100 level class and the course material will either put you to sleep or make you want to jump into a volcano. Avoid at all costs.
