Not helpful, dry, doesn't know how to run an effective class. Doesn't really lecture, and reads straight from the book. I

Profesor Cerrutti is old-school charming, which may put you at ease in a way that isn't great for your final grade. He makes evidence seem easy, but it really isn't. He does explain things carefully, and the tone of his class is friendly and relaxed.

not the greatest, not the worst... pay attention, go to class, try to avoid the "doesn't take attendance" syndrome. He's cool though.

I liked him. He does go off on tangents, but as long as you copy his hypos down carefully and do his practice multiple choice, you'll be fine. His final essay was very straightforward.

Nice professor, but it's all theory in a class that people could really relate to if the class was pulled out of the clouds. Also, the format of the final is deceptive. While it is extremely short, it is very hard to get everything on paper within the page limits. Think Legal Writing all over again.

Great prof. Doesnt BS. Does not call students at random. Does not degrade students by taking attendance or being anal about participation. Hard final but multiple choice. Good luck

Cerruti has a different style than most profs. No assigned seating, no socratic method at all. He teaches from a practical prespective and is very laid back. Don't be fooled however. His final is very tricky but you can do well if you prepare yourself for the twists. He's great. He knows his stuff and is easy to talk with.

If you want a professor who is structured and doesn't ramble - don't take Cerrutti. If you're the kid in class who goes on for an hour about a hypo and you like to hear yourself talk, this is the class and exam for you. Also, from a foundational point of view this class was a waste of time since he disagreed with almost every case we read - why the

Listen, if you pay attention in class and write down his hypos and what he says in class - NOT HARD - you will do really well on the exam. Just spit back out what he says - and I'm not gonna lie, the book just doesn't help. He will, however, go over the facts of each case (write them down) and whatever reasoning they used OR should have used.

Nice funny old man, he makes fun of students that ask stupid questions in class. Final was hard but fair. Tip: write down every single hypo he ever mentions. A lot of those hypos appear on the final in some form.
