Comment:
Professor Harris is one of the best professors I ever had. His expectations are high, his exams are hard, and his lectures are amazing. He is an amazing attorney and professor. Those that say otherwise are simply wrong and are probably poor judges of what makes a quality professor.

Very irritating lecturer. He shouts and can be obnoxious. Don't bother if you are not a bleeding heart liberal. He just wants to hear himself regurgitated on the exam (which is very comprehensive). Worst class I ever took; I learned nothing. He's not a teacher. He just loves hearing himself talk. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid this guy!!! He thinks he is smart and always lowers the students in NYLS. I took him in another school and his TWEN postings together with his take home assignments are useless because he only cared about is the final exam.

This man is the only reason why I wasn?t able to get into law school. I was a participant in one of those summer conditional programs at another law school. He would always state that New York Law Students are not as smart as those in the law school I was in. He had higher expectations of us, and he let us know about them. I was the only person

He is a jerk! Has a bad attitude, and he thinks he is the smartest person in the world. Talks down to you and is not helpfull at all. His students would probably learn more if he was not so intimidating. He needs to use his inside voice in class. I do not recommend him!!!

Loud and bombastic, as though that makes him a better teacher. He is smart and has a lot to say, but would be more effective if he didn't try to be such an intimidating law professor to scare all the 1Ls.

Great class. Very difficult final, but also very fair. If you put in the time and learn how to make arguments that he likes, you will do fine.

Can seem very arrogant and tough, but he is actually a great guy. Very clear, and provides tools such as online audio and powerpoints. You will learn torts, believe me. His exam is tough, but you will not find anything he did not cover.

He's a tough professor, but fair. I learned a lot and was never surprised by the questions on the exam. He gives practice questions during the semester and goes over them in the next class--his answer format is exactly what he wants to see on the exam. Work hard and you'll be fine.

Awesome teacher, really fun. Memorize the elements as he lays them out and you'll be fine for the final. Read for class because he calls on people randomly and is not forgiving if you didnt read

Nice guy, works very hard. However, he is arrogant and wants the answer on the exam to be his opinion of what the answer is; he does not like alternate views or contrary ideas.

Good professor if you want to learn black letter law and clarity. He's entertaining and animated. He carrys a towel to class because he sweats through his shirts.
